10 Best NetSuite Alternatives in 2026

Trusted by750,000+ Techpresso subscribers·426 AI tools reviewed·Editorial team

NetSuite publishes no list price, which is why the quote feels like the product. Short answer: Business Central Essentials at $80/user/mo, paid yearly, when you want a full ERP with a sticker. Dynamics 365 Finance at $210/user/mo when the ledger is the part you are replacing. Odoo Standard at US$31.10/user/mo on the yearly rate when one company is enough.

Dupple data: Toolradar, our software directory, evaluated 247 accounting tools (September 2026), on its accounting ranking. That catalog mixes ledgers with heavier systems, so this page is only the exit from NetSuite. Prices below were read on each vendor's site on September 24, 2026. Choosing a first system starts at ERP software, not this switch list.

Quick comparison

What a NetSuite alternative has to replace

A NetSuite alternative is software that can take the general ledger off Oracle NetSuite, and usually orders and inventory with it.

NetSuite's ERP page says the annual license has three parts: the core platform, optional modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee, and none of those parts has a printed dollar, so the renewal waits on a partner. OneWorld handles multiple subsidiaries, currencies, tax rules, and consolidation, and a one-company ledger does not replace it. If the invoice was the only pain, invoicing software is a smaller buy. The guide that still treats NetSuite as a system to adopt is enterprise accounting software.

How we chose

Toolradar's accounting category lists 247 tools, updated September 2026, and this page ranks 10 products you can set next to a NetSuite contract. Each one was alive on the vendor's site on September 24, 2026, with a printed US price or a clear statement that it publishes no list price. No vendor paid for a place. The order runs from a sticker you can multiply by seats to the quote-only suites. The wider catalog is Toolradar's ERP software guide. Pricing transparency is the filter when a finalist will not print a number, and midsize accounting fits if NetSuite was always too large.

1

Business Central, when the ERP has to show a seat price

Dynamics 365 Business Central is the default to open when NetSuite will not show a number before the partner call. Essentials is $80 per user per month, paid yearly. Premium is $110 per user per month, paid yearly, and that seat adds manufacturing. Team Members is $8 per user per month, paid yearly, for reading and approvals. Microsoft tells you to buy through a partner.

Pricing

Essentials covers finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and projects. Premium adds manufacturing and service order management, so a production order is not on the cheaper seat. Team Members is limited access for reading, approvals, and selected updates. Sales Order Agent and Payables Agent need Copilot Credits, sold separately. The August 2026 licensing guide lists one production environment plus three non-production environments, with an 80 GB database on each full license.

The catch: Ten people who create transactions are ten Essentials seats, and a shop floor that expected manufacturing is on Premium instead.

Verdict

Use Essentials to leave a financials-and-inventory NetSuite footprint, and budget Premium the month production orders are real.

2

Dynamics 365 Finance, when OneWorld was the product you used

Dynamics 365 Finance is the Microsoft ledger for a company that outgrew a mid-market ERP seat and still does not want a warehouse suite. Finance is $210 per user per month, paid yearly. Finance Premium is $300 per user per month, paid yearly, for planning, not inventory. The same page says those figures are informational and the checkout price can vary by country.

Pricing

Premium is where business performance planning is an admin task, and it includes 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month. The licensing guide gives Finance 100 electronic invoice transactions and 100 invoice-capture transactions per tenant each month, and Premium doubles both caps to 200. Extra capacity is a separate purchase.

The catch: This is not Business Central with a higher sticker. Warehouse and manufacturing are other Dynamics applications, so a NetSuite company that lived in inventory will not find that work inside this seat.

Verdict

Move here when consolidation and the close are the contract you are ending, and stay on Business Central when operations have to share the database.

3

Odoo, when every app should share one user rate

Odoo prints a US user price for the whole catalog, which is the opposite of a NetSuite module menu. Standard lists at US$31.10 per user per month on the yearly plan, and US$38.90 per user per month if you pay month to month. The US homepage leads with US$24.90 per month for all apps, a first-year rate, not the renewal. Custom lists at US$61 per user per month yearly and US$76.20 month to month. One App Free is $0 for a single app and unlimited users, not the full suite.

Pricing

The discount lasts 12 months and applies to the initial users ordered, not to people you add later. The Custom configurator, in US dollars, shows one user at US$61 before a US$12 first-year discount, a US$49 monthly total, and an annual bill of US$588. Custom adds multi-company, Odoo Studio, the external API, and Odoo.sh or on-premise. Odoo.sh hosting is not inside that user price, so that hosting is a separate bill. A paying user includes an outside accountant in the backend, and a customer on the portal is not billed. Companies under 50 employees are pointed at Success Packs, and larger ones at a partner.

The catch: Adding companies to a Standard database switches the subscription to Custom, so a second subsidiary is a plan change, not another user.

Verdict

Buy Standard for one company and every app, and open Custom before you recreate OneWorld.

4

Xero, when NetSuite was more system than the books needed

Xero is the downgrade when the NetSuite footprint was a ledger, bills, and invoices, not a warehouse. Early is $25 per month after an intro, Growing is $55 per month, and Established is $90 per month. New US customers can pay $2.50, $5.50, or $9 per month for the first six months, a 90% discount that Xero limits to a first organization and to purchases before September 30, 2026. There is no per-user license fee, so added users do not raise it. Xero says subscription prices increase from October 1, 2026, and it does not print the new rates on this page.

Pricing

Early caps you at 20 invoices and 5 bills, light volume for an ERP exit. Growing and Established do not print those caps. Multiple currencies, project time, and a 180-day cash forecast start on Established. Payroll, powered by Gusto, is optional at $36 a month plus $6 per employee or contractor on every plan, so a headcount fee can return with payroll. If orders are staying put, the narrower buy is bookkeeping software.

The catch: A flat organization fee is not an ERP. Inventory is an optional add-on on Growing and Established, and multi-currency is not on the two cheaper plans.

Verdict

Leave NetSuite for Established when several people need the file and nobody needs production. Leave for Early only when 20 invoices a month is honest.

5

Sage Intacct, when the replacement is the finance team, not the plant

Sage Intacct does not publish a monthly price. The US pricing page says the plan is built from the modules an organization needs, for its industry and size, and the next step is a quote. Sage says it is trusted by 30,000 or more scaling and mid-sized teams.

Pricing

The page discusses accounting, planning, analytics, and human capital, and it lists neither a seat count nor a base fee. The wider ledger market, including tools that do print a price, is accounting software.

The catch: You cannot finish a budget from the website, so Intacct cannot win a comparison against a printed seat until the quote arrives.

Verdict

Take the quote when dimensional reporting and a faster close are the NetSuite complaint, and keep a printed-price system on the shortlist until the number shows up.

6

Acumatica, when the NetSuite bill moved every time you added a login

Acumatica prices consumption rather than a public seat, and the pricing request page publishes no dollar amount. The cost is based primarily on the applications you implement, and the consumption model allows unlimited users. Named-user licensing also exists in the October 2025 licensing guide, so the quote has to name which method you are buying.

Pricing

SaaS and private cloud are both offered, and a partner explains the difference. The October 2025 licensing guide caps renewal increases at 10% a year on the current order form, for PCS and SaaS, if you do not reduce the edition, the transaction tier, or the user count. Discounts do not renew, and the cap skips services, support, and marketplace products. Per-seat and flat pricing is the comparison when a user fee is the line you want gone.

The catch: Unlimited users is not a printed invoice, and a cut in edition or tier can take the cap with it.

Verdict

Shortlist Acumatica when auditors, customers, or a growing staff should log in without a new seat, and do not sign until the quote names consumption or named users.

7

ERPNext, when the license fee is the part you refuse to pay

ERPNext is free, open-source software. Frappe, the company behind it, charges for hosting and for implementation help, not for a user license. You can self-host and pay Frappe nothing if your own team will run the server. Frappe Cloud site plans list US dollar tiers from $5/mo through $10/mo and $50/mo. Private hosting on that comparison starts at $25/mo.

Pricing

Site plans do not cap users. They cap CPU time per day, so a busy close can slow the site when the allowance runs out. The trial is 14 days, then the site needs a paid plan. Product warranty covers bugs, not functional support, and Frappe points heavier workloads at server plans. Implementation is a separate hire.

The catch: The smallest hosting plan is not a migration. The data move, the chart of accounts, and the training are still a project with no price on that page.

Verdict

Use it when a technical team will own the system and the NetSuite complaint was the license, not the absence of a vendor project manager.

8

SAP Business One, when you want SAP at a smaller scale

SAP Business One is SAP's ERP for small and midsize companies, and the product page publishes no list price. SAP describes it as one system for accounting, purchasing, inventory, sales, customer relationships, and reporting. The same page separates it from SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP ERP, which SAP says are for organizations of all sizes.

Pricing

Deployment can be cloud or on your own infrastructure. No seat price, user minimum, or implementation fee appears on that page, so a partner quote is the price.

The catch: "Affordable" on the product page is not a number you can set beside an Essentials seat.

Verdict

Ask for a Business One quote when the buyers already want the SAP name at subsidiary scale, and do not accept an S/4 conversation as the same product.

9

Epicor Kinetic, when the NetSuite pain was production, not the close

Epicor Kinetic sells manufacturing bundles and publishes no list price. Kinetic Financials Core or Kinetic Operations Core is a required base, and industry bundles sit on top of that base. Financials Core includes the general ledger, payables, receivables, deferred revenue, and payment tools such as ACH and positive pay. Epicor tells you to contact sales for the cloud packages and the user count.

Pricing

Epicor says customers who have not converted can still buy individual components, while most bundle pieces are not sold alone. Inventory beyond this financials core is inventory management, and the warehouse task is warehouse management software.

The catch: You cannot tell from the page whether a 20-person plant is a Financials Core quote or an Operations Core quote.

Verdict

Call Epicor when manufacturing was the module you used, and keep Business Central Premium beside it until a number exists, which this page does not provide.

10

Workday, when finance should sit on the same model as the workforce

Workday Financial Management publishes no list price. Workday says it was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP Finance, and the product page sends the cost question to a value calculator and a sales conversation. The scope it describes is record to report, procure to pay, and contract to cash, plus planning.

Pricing

Nothing on that page is a seat, a module, or a platform fee. Procurement that should stay outside the ERP is procurement software, and card spend that posts back to the ledger is spend management.

The catch: A Gartner line is not a quote, and a services company that does not already want Workday for people data is buying a platform, not a cheaper close.

Verdict

Shortlist Workday when HR and finance should share one model, and do not shortlist it to save money against a printed Microsoft seat.

Pricing: ten users, before implementation

Ten Essentials seats are $800 a month, paid yearly, before a partner's implementation bill. That is the figure to set beside a NetSuite quote, not the single-user rate alone.

Setup at 10 full users Monthly math What it assumes
Business Central Essentials $800 Yearly billing, no manufacturing
Business Central Premium $1,100 Yearly billing, production included
Dynamics 365 Finance $2,100 Yearly billing, not a warehouse
Dynamics 365 Finance Premium $3,000 Includes 1,000 credits per user
Odoo Standard, yearly list $311 One company, after the intro year
Odoo Standard, first year $249 The homepage rate, 12 months
Odoo Custom, yearly list $610 Multi-company, before Odoo.sh
Xero Established $90 The whole organization, not per seat
Frappe Cloud, smallest site $5 Hosting only, no implementation

NetSuite still describes an annual license of platform, modules, and users, plus a one-time implementation fee, and it still prints none of those dollars. Odoo.sh, Success Packs, and every quote-only implementation sit outside the table.

How to choose

Match the replacement to the NetSuite modules you actually close each month.

Financials, orders, and light inventory. Business Central Essentials, and Premium if manufacturing or service orders are already in the account.

Subsidiaries and consolidation. Dynamics 365 Finance, or Odoo Custom if every operational app should share one user rate. Business Central allows multiple companies and does not print the company cap on the pricing page.

The books were the whole system. Xero Established, or Early if the invoice cap is acceptable. A full ERP is the wrong replacement for a ledger you barely used.

A plant. Epicor if you will take a quote, or Business Central Premium if you will not. Acumatica if the user count, not the routing, was the surprise.

People and finance on one record. Workday, with Sage Intacct as the finance-only quote if HR should stay where it is.

Common mistakes

Comparing one Essentials seat with a NetSuite quote ignores headcount. Ten full users are the $800 line in the table, and ten Finance users are the $2,100 line.

Buying Essentials for a factory leaves manufacturing off the license. That capability is on Premium.

Adding a second company on Odoo Standard triggers Custom. The yearly Custom list is the higher user rate, and Odoo.sh is still extra if you need custom code.

Reading Xero's intro as the renewal uses the six-month discount where the Established list is the later bill, and that 90% offer ends September 30, 2026 for new US organizations. Xero has also said list prices change on October 1, 2026, without printing the new amounts.

Treating Frappe's smallest plan as the project pays for hosting. The chart of accounts, opening balances, and training are not in that monthly figure, and the 14-day trial ends in a paid site.

Assuming Acumatica's cap keeps the discount misreads the licensing guide. The 10% ceiling applies to the order-form price at renewal, the original discount does not carry, and services are outside the cap.

Letting SAP Business One and S/4HANA share one nickname produces an enterprise quote for a product SAP positions below that suite.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best NetSuite alternative in 2026?

Business Central Essentials is the best default when you want a full ERP and a price you can multiply by users: that $80 seat, paid yearly. Choose Dynamics 365 Finance when the NetSuite scope was the ledger and consolidation. Choose Odoo Standard when one company should get every app for the yearly user rate in the table.

How much does a NetSuite alternative cost?

Printed prices here run from Xero Early at $25 per month, with no per-user fee, to Finance Premium at $300 per user per month, paid yearly. Ten Essentials users are $800 a month before implementation. Ten Odoo Standard users at the yearly list are $311 a month. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, SAP Business One, Epicor Kinetic, and Workday publish no list price.

Is there a free NetSuite alternative?

ERPNext is free software if you host it yourself. Frappe Cloud hosting starts at the rate in the table, has no user cap, and limits CPU time instead. Odoo One App Free is $0 for one app and unlimited users, and it is not the full suite. None of the quote-only ERPs on this list has a permanent free edition.

Is Business Central cheaper than NetSuite?

You can price Business Central and you cannot price NetSuite from Oracle's page. Essentials and Premium are the yearly seats in the first section, while NetSuite's annual license depends on the platform, the modules, and the users, plus an implementation fee with no dollars printed. See the ten-user Essentials row before a partner implements it.

What replaces NetSuite OneWorld?

OneWorld is NetSuite's multi-subsidiary layer: currencies, tax, and consolidation. Dynamics 365 Finance is the Microsoft product aimed at that global ledger. Odoo Standard is the wrong plan for a second company, because adding companies moves the database to Custom. Business Central supports multiple companies and points the exact cap to the licensing guide rather than the pricing card.

Does Sage Intacct publish a price?

No, Sage's US page says pricing follows the modules, the industry, and the size of the organization, and it names no seat and no base fee. The page says more than 30,000 scaling and mid-sized teams use it. Until a quote arrives, Business Central and Odoo are the systems you can put on a spreadsheet.

Do I still pay for implementation if the license is cheap?

Yes, NetSuite states a one-time implementation fee and does not price it. Odoo separates Success Packs and partner projects from the user subscription, and Odoo.sh is extra on Custom. Frappe separates hosting from implementation. A low seat does not include the migration.

Bottom line

Leave NetSuite for Business Central when you want a printed ERP seat, for Dynamics 365 Finance when the ledger was the product, and for Odoo when one user rate should cover the apps. Leave for Xero when the ERP was oversized. Take Sage Intacct, Acumatica, SAP Business One, Epicor, or Workday only if you will wait for a quote, and keep a printed number beside that quote until it arrives.
