Lead Generation for Banking and Lending Products: The Finance & Banking Audience

Trusted by790,000+ Techpresso subscribers·Editorial policy·How we make money

Lead generation for banks on Dupple reaches people who chose Finance & Banking as their industry in a quiz, which is not a list of bank customers. From 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026, 9,135 new subscribers made that choice, and 13.3% of them (1,217 people) are decision-makers at companies of 51 or more employees. That makes the segment a reasonable place to test B2B banking and lending offers aimed at senior staff, while the data says nothing about consumer products such as cards or personal loans.

On the Lead Generation page, a reader who signs up to a Dupple newsletter answers a short quiz, and then may see your offer on the offer wall, in the welcome email or in follow-up emails. When an offer is set to targeted readers only, only readers whose quiz answers match your rules see it. The reader chose to look at an offer; that is not a request for a sales call, and it is not an MQL (marketing-qualified lead) by itself, nor intent data. The exact lead definition for a pay-per-lead offer is not published, so ask us; what counts as a lead covers what Dupple can check on a lead.

Lead Generation is sold per click (CPC, cost per click) or per lead (CPL, cost per lead), and the Lead Generation page lists no CPC or CPL price. An applicant sends its offer, terms and CPC or CPL, and Dupple reviews applications weekly.

Quick answer

  • 9,135 people chose Finance & Banking as their industry, 7.0% of the 130,965 quiz answers from new subscribers, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026.
  • 13.3% of that segment (1,217 people) are decision-makers at companies of 51 or more employees, against 7.2% (9,381) of all respondents over the same 90 days.
  • Finance & Banking respondents clicked 7.4% of the offer cards they saw over 30 days (1,245 clicks from 16,894 card views), with 5.6% in the United States and 9.5% outside it.
  • The United States is 46.8% of respondents with a known country. Country is unknown for 23.7% of the segment, and the Lead Generation page does not state how readers with an unknown country are handled.
  • Dupple's data has no income, credit or product-holding figures for these readers, so it cannot size a consumer banking offer.

The lead generation by industry hub puts Finance & Banking next to the other industries, and the fintech and payments page covers the Finance & Banking respondents with an engineering, data or product role.

Quiz answers from new subscribers, 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days). Each row is the people in the Finance & Banking segment who picked that role, so the rows are not added together. Rows marked small sample have fewer than 500 people. Source: Dupple Offer Network data, read 3 Nov 2026.

Finance & Accounting is the largest role row, with 2,673 people, but only 26.3% of them are decision-makers. Executive & Leadership is the most senior row: 66.0% are decision-makers, and its 360 decision-makers at 51+ are the largest such count of any role row here.

Inside the segment, Manager is the largest seniority answer at 21.5%, and C-Suite is 5.3%. Company size splits between 1000+ employees (22.5%) and Just me (22.2%), against 12.9% and 37.8% for all respondents, so this segment sits at larger companies. Among known countries, the United States is 46.8% and the United Kingdom 9.0%.

Non-consumer email domains

Of the 9,135 Finance & Banking respondents, 12.8% (1,169 people) use an email domain that is not one of about 50 consumer mailbox providers, against 12.6% of all respondents (16,522). The count is exact, but reading it as business addresses is an upper bound. Among decision-makers at 51+, 211 of 1,217 use a non-consumer domain, which is 17.3% (211 divided by 1,217), also an upper bound. We found no outside, non-vendor figure for work-email shares in sign-ups to compare with.

The only role-level email row for this segment is Finance & Accounting: 12.0% (322 people) use a non-consumer domain, and 38 of its 261 decision-makers at 51+ do so, which is 14.6%. Quiz answers, 90 days to 3 Nov 2026: n = 9,135 for the segment, n = 2,673 for the Finance & Accounting row. Dupple Offer Network data, read 3 Nov 2026.

The cost-per-lead model walks from a click rate to a cost per lead with your own inputs.

Click rates by country and role

Finance & Banking respondents clicked 7.4% of the offer cards they saw over 30 days: 1,245 clicks from 16,894 card views, by 2,481 people, 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026. Technology respondents clicked 7.0% over the same window, and Healthcare respondents clicked 5.8%. The country split matters more than the industry split: the gap between the two countries is 3.9 points, against 0.4 points between Finance & Banking and Technology. Finance & Banking respondents in the United States clicked 5.6% of the cards they saw (511 clicks from 9,129 views, 1,281 people), and those outside the United States clicked 9.5% (734 clicks from 7,719 views, 1,188 people). By comparison, the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), a UK industry body, reports 2.3% as the 2024 unique click rate of emails from seven UK email service providers. The 7.4% is higher, but it is clicks per offer-card view rather than per email, and we found no independent benchmark for offer cards.

Finance & Banking decision-makers clicked 7.7% (799 people, 408 clicks from 5,310 views), and Finance & Banking respondents at 51+ employees clicked 8.4% (1,134 people). Finance & Banking decision-makers at 51+ employees clicked 9.3%, but that group has 339 people, a small sample, so treat it as a direction only.

By role, only Finance & Accounting has 500 or more people in the click data: Finance & Banking respondents in that role clicked 8.1% (807 people, 477 clicks from 5,853 views). The other role rows are small samples: Sales & Business Development 8.6% (299 people), Executive & Leadership 6.6% (313), Operations & Project Management 6.3% (161) and Marketing & Communications 5.9% (135).

Example target, not a forecast: 100 clicks at the segment rate of 7.4% needs 1,352 card views (100 divided by 0.074, rounded up). At the United States rate of 5.6% it needs 1,786 card views, and at the outside-United-States rate of 9.5% it needs 1,053. A click is one action, not a lead: Dupple publishes no click-to-lead rate. Offer-card views and clicks, 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026 (30 days), with each row's own card views. Dupple Offer Network data, read 3 Nov 2026.

How a campaign would be targeted

Every condition inside a rule must match. A rule can combine industry, job level, role and company size, and country is set at country level, with strict mode available. A second rule can reach a different audience with the same offer (Rule A OR Rule B).

Two example rules for this segment:

  • Rule A: Industry is Finance & Banking, AND Job level is C-Suite or Director/VP, AND Company size is 201-1000 or 1000+ employees. Country: United States, strict.
  • Rule B: Industry is Finance & Banking, AND Role is Finance & Accounting or Operations & Project Management, AND Company size is 51-200. Country: United States, strict.

For Rule A, the data has no count for C-Suite and Director/VP alone at 201+. Finance & Banking decision-makers at 201+ employees, a group that also includes Founders, are 9.7% of the segment (889 people over 90 days), so Rule A's pool is at most 889 people before the country condition. For Rule B, company size 51-200 is 13.0% of the Finance & Accounting respondents (2,673 people) and 14.0% of the Operations & Project Management respondents (566 people); the data has no combined count. Country is unknown for 23.7% of the segment, and the Lead Generation page does not state how readers with an unknown country are handled.

The targeting options have no bank, lender, fintech, security, AI, SaaS or HR-software option. Finpresso, Dupple's daily finance and tech newsletter, has 31,000+ subscribers across its whole list. That figure is the list, not the quiz answers, and the quiz has no breakdown by newsletter, so the data does not show how many Finance & Banking respondents joined Finpresso. Its page is Finpresso.

For newsletter sponsorships aimed at finance readers, see fintech advertising.

What offers fit

For a bank or lender, the Lead Generation page's own list starts with broad B2B tech offers that a new subscriber can use right away, then free newsletters, free tools and calculators with email capture (self-serve), and eBooks and guides on artificial intelligence, marketing and engineering. Its last item is trial signups of SaaS (software sold by subscription) with short time-to-value, which the page calls best for self-serve products.

For this segment, the data describes respondents who chose Finance & Banking as their industry, including the 1,217 decision-makers at 51+ employees (a count that includes Founders). It carries no intent or budget signal, so it cannot say which of them would buy a banking or lending offer. The Lead Generation page does not list banking or lending as an offer type, so ask us whether a specific offer is in scope. If a lender wants a calculator or quiz built, Lead Magnet builds a custom tool and returns each lead with the answers the reader typed.

Limits

  • The segment is a self-reported quiz answer, not a job title. Finance & Banking mixes banks, insurers, fintechs and corporate finance, and the quiz does not split them, so no bank-only count exists.
  • Country is unknown for 23.7% of the segment. In the click data, 12 people (2,481 less 1,281 in the United States and 1,188 outside it) sit in neither country row.
  • Most role rows are small samples, so their click rates are a direction only.
  • The windows differ: quiz and email data cover 90 days (5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026), click data covers 30 days (4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026). No rate here is scaled to another window.
  • A click is one action, not a lead. The data has no intent, budget or purchase signal, and Dupple publishes no click-to-lead rate.

Data and sources

FAQ

Is this audience retail banking customers?

No. The segment is the 9,135 new subscribers who chose Finance & Banking as their industry in Dupple's quiz between 5 Aug and 3 Nov 2026. The data holds no bank customers, product holdings, income or credit figures.

How many finance decision-makers at larger companies answer the quiz?

1,217 people over 90 days, which is 13.3% of the 9,135 Finance & Banking respondents. Decision-makers here are Founders, C-Suite or Director/VP at companies of 51 or more employees. This is a 90-day count, not a monthly number.

What click rate does finance show?

Finance & Banking respondents clicked 7.4% of the offer cards they saw over 30 days (1,245 clicks from 16,894 views). The rate is 5.6% in the United States and 9.5% outside it. A click is one action, not a lead: Dupple publishes no click-to-lead rate.

Can I target bank executives?

Not by bank. The only finance industry option is Finance & Banking, which mixes banks with insurers, fintechs and corporate finance. A rule with Job level C-Suite or Director/VP and Company size 201-1000 or 1000+ reaches senior people in that industry, and at most 889 decision-makers at 201+ (a count that includes Founders) sit behind it before the country condition.

Can I run a consumer loan offer?

This page cannot size one. Dupple's data has no income, credit or product-holding figures, so it says nothing about how consumers respond to cards, personal loans or savings. Ask us before you apply.
