Dupple audience and lead data, with methods

Updated

Four datasets from Dupple's systems, free to cite with a link: the post-signup quiz new subscribers answer (5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026) and offer views and clicks logged by the Offer Network (4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026), plus the six newsletters' subscriber figures. Each comes with its method, sample size, window, limits and a CSV file.

Summary

Quick answer

Files

Download the data

Four CSV (comma-separated values) files hold the aggregates behind datasets 1 to 4. All four were read on 3 November 2026. They hold aggregates only: no email address, no name and no individual record.

Newsletters

Newsletter audience figures

These are the subscriber counts and the average open and click rates that the email platform reports for each newsletter. The figures come from one shared data file, and every Dupple page prints them from that file, so the same number appears everywhere. The file is refreshed weekly. Subscriber counts are rounded down: Techpresso and the six-newsletter total to the nearest 10,000, the other newsletters to the nearest 1,000, with "+" only when the real figure is above the rounded one. Open rates are rounded to the nearest whole percent. These lists are not the same population as the quiz respondents described in the populations section.

Email platform data (Beehiiv, plus MailerLite for part of the Techpresso list), as of November 1, 2026, refreshed weekly. Subscribers rounded down; open rates rounded to the nearest whole percent; click rates as the platform reports them.

Dataset 1

Post-signup audience segments

What it contains
For 28 segments (all respondents, two industries, industry plus role, and role across all industries), the number of people, the share who are decision-makers, the share at companies of 51 or more employees, the count and share of decision-makers at 51 or more employees, the share whose country is known, and the US share of those with a known country.
How it was collected
New subscribers to a Dupple newsletter see a short quiz right after they sign up. It asks about industry, role, job level, company size and AI tools. The Offer Network stores the answers. Country is not a quiz question: it is recorded separately and is known for 77.1% of respondents. Window: 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days). Sample: 130,965 people.
Definitions
Decision-maker means Founder, C-Suite or Director/VP. 51+ means a company of 51-200, 201-1000 or 1000+ employees. The quiz offers six company sizes: Just me, 2-10, 11-50, 51-200, 201-1000 and 1000+. Country known means a country is recorded for the respondent. US share of known is the share of those people whose country is the US.
What it cannot show
Answers are self-reported and are not checked against company records. Respondents are new subscribers who answered the quiz, not every subscriber. Country is known for 77.1% of all respondents (78.6% in Technology, 76.3% in Finance & Banking), so the US share describes only those respondents. The data says nothing about purchase intent.

Dataset 2

Email quality

What it contains
For 5 segments (all respondents, Technology, Finance & Banking, Technology plus Engineering & Software Development role, and Finance & Banking plus Finance & Accounting role), the number of people, the count and share with a non-consumer email domain, and how many decision-makers at 51 or more employees have a non-consumer domain.
Method
The domain of the sign-up email is compared with a list of about 50 consumer mailbox providers, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, iCloud, AOL, GMX, Proton and national internet providers. Any other domain counts as non-consumer.
Limits
Non-consumer is an upper bound for a work address, because a personal domain or a school domain also counts. No email is checked as deliverable, and none is checked as belonging to the company the person states. This file counts 130,964 people against 130,965 in the segment file (28,401 against 28,402 for Technology), and each share uses its own file's count.

Dataset 3

AI tools and spend

What it contains
For 5 segments (all respondents, Technology, Technology plus Engineering & Software Development role, Finance & Banking, and Founders and C-suite across all industries), how many people answered, the share paying for at least one AI tool, the median, 25th and 75th percentile of monthly AI spend in US dollars, the share spending $100 or more a month, and the six most common answers to the tools question.
Method
A quiz question answered by 28,509 of the 130,964 respondents, in the window 5 Aug to 3 Nov 2026 (90 days). Spend is the monthly amount the person says they spend.
Limits
Answers are self-reported. Only about one respondent in five answered this question (28,509 of 130,964), so the people who answered may differ from the rest. Shares of tools can add up to more than 100%, because a person can name several.

Dataset 4

Offer engagement

What it contains
For 30 segments of quiz respondents (Technology and Finance & Banking, by decision-maker status, company size, US or not, and role), the people who saw at least one offer card, the offer-card views, the clicks and the click rate.
Method
Offer-card views and clicks are logged by the Offer Network itself, not by the email provider. The clicks come from the post-signup offer wall and other placements, the welcome and follow-up emails, and partner sites. Window: 4 Oct to 3 Nov 2026 (30 days).
Network totals for the same window
These are not in the CSV. 279,365 offer-card views; 22,388 clicks (8.0% of card views); 37,942 people who saw at least one card. Clicks by surface: post-signup wall and other placements 15,715, emails 5,581, partner sites 1,092. 150 live offers from 36 advertisers.
Definitions
Click rate is clicks divided by offer-card views. A person can view several cards, so people and views are different counts.
Limits
A click is not a lead or a sale, and Dupple does not see what happens on the advertiser's page. The rates mix every offer that was live, each with its own targeting. The US and outside-US rows leave out people whose country is unknown, so they do not add up to the segment total. Respondents outside the US clicked at 9.1% in Technology and 9.5% in Finance & Banking, and US respondents at 5.0% and 5.6% in the same two industries. The data does not explain this gap.

Why the numbers differ

Why the numbers differ between pages

Three populations appear in Dupple's figures, each with its own source:

The 51.3% US share among quiz respondents with a known country (dataset 1, all respondents) and the media kit's Techpresso figure describe different people. One side is new subscribers across six newsletters, the other is the whole Techpresso list. So both can be true. Older pages and search results may show older subscriber counts. The figures on this page are the current ones.

FAQ

Questions about this data

Straight answers on how the numbers were made.

Who collected these numbers, and how?

Dupple's own systems produced them. New subscribers see a short quiz right after they sign up to a Dupple newsletter, and the Offer Network stores the answers. Offer-card views and clicks are logged by the Offer Network, and subscriber counts come from the email platform.

Are the figures audited?

No. No third party has audited or certified these figures, and this page does not claim otherwise. Each figure comes with its method, window, sample size and limits, so you can judge how far to rely on it.

Why is the US share different from the Techpresso media kit?

They describe different people. The 51.3% US share in dataset 1 covers quiz respondents with a known country, who are new subscribers across six newsletters. The media kit figure covers the whole Techpresso list, as the populations section explains. Both can be true.

How often is the data refreshed?

The newsletter audience file is refreshed weekly. The four CSV datasets were read on 3 November 2026, and their next refresh is 3 December 2026. The refresh is monthly.

Can an advertiser get these cuts for its own targeting?

Yes. Advertisers can ask Dupple for the same cuts for their own targeting, such as role, job level, industry, company size and country, before a campaign. Each Lead Generation offer can also get a private, read-only live report link.

Dupple sells lead generation and newsletter advertising, and this page was written by its team.
