DevOps and Cloud Newsletters to Advertise In
For Kubernetes-focused technical distribution, compare LearnKube. For a choice between a top sponsor and a tutorial link, consider DevOps Bulletin. Devshot is the broader daily developer option. These eight publisher-described offers include established formats, newer publications and an upcoming newsletter.
Dupple publishes Devshot and sells sponsorships in it. We have a commercial interest in that option. The list is alphabetical, not a ranking. Publisher descriptions are self-reported, and we have not independently audited their audiences or campaign outcomes. Publisher sources were checked 7 November 2026.
Dupple data: our 7 November 2026 source audit covers 8 selected publishers. Of those, 5 describe weekly email, 1 daily email and 1 an upcoming monthly newsletter. The remaining page describes campaign distribution up to 4 times a month, which we do not relabel as an issue cadence. These are observations of offer wording, not verified sends or audience measurements.
The eight-row comparison CSV preserves each source, cadence label and format caveat. The audit method explains the purposive selection. The upcoming-monthly and campaign-frequency rows are intentionally separate, since a launch offer and a recurring issue schedule create different booking questions.

Table: publication contexts and newsletter placements stated on publisher pages, checked 7 November 2026. The source describes the publisher's offer, not an independently verified audience or result.
DevOps Academy: an education context
DevOps Academy describes roadmaps, labs and guides on subjects such as Kubernetes, infrastructure as code and cloud operations. Its advertising page offers a short sponsored note in a weekly newsletter on request. The same page also describes site placements, so clarify whether a quote covers an email, a web placement or both.
A product with a practical tutorial may fit the learning context, but the page does not establish how many newsletter recipients work on the exact problem your product addresses. Ask for the current issue, placement terms and report. Topic selection mentioned for site advertising should not automatically be assumed to apply to individual newsletter delivery.
DevOps Bulletin: choose between a featured sponsor and a link
DevOps Bulletin describes a weekly publication for DevOps, SRE, platform and cloud practitioners. Its sponsorship page distinguishes a featured placement from a sponsored link inside its technical sections. The publisher requires the sponsored-link destination to be technical material rather than a product landing page. Its featured unit instead includes an image, proposition and CTA.
Its published featured-unit specs are a 1200 by 600 image, headline up to 60 characters, body up to 300 and button label up to 25. A sponsored-link title can use up to 80 characters. Choose the unit around the destination: a product pitch that works in a featured block can be rejected as a tutorial link. Audience metrics on the page remain publisher-reported.
DevOps'ish: a text-based top placement
The DevOps'ish sponsor page describes a text-based newsletter and sponsor placement at the top. Its stated readership extends beyond DevOps and SRE to developers and other technology roles. It also lists its own audience metrics and an example placement.
A text-first format may suit an advertiser able to explain a concrete workflow without relying on a large image. Review a recent issue and confirm whether the sponsor copy, link and reporting match the current offering. The sponsorship page has a 2018 publication date and separately identifies a later effective date for its terms; verify freshness with the publisher.
Devshot: a broader developer newsletter
Devshot is Dupple's developer newsletter. Dupple describes software engineers, DevOps, tech founders and CTOs among its readership and advertises primary placements and dedicated sends. Its broader developer focus can be relevant to a tool that also serves platform teams, but the overall subscriber count is not a count of DevOps practitioners or cloud buyers.
Dupple sells the placement and has a direct commercial interest in this entry. Ask about the actual issue, creative review and reporting in the proposal. Do not assume newsletter delivery is individually targeted by role or company size. Dupple's post-signup Lead Generation product is separate. The audience data page explains the sources and limitations of published audience figures.
DevtoDevOps: newsletter mentions alongside site options
DevtoDevOps describes content on DevOps, cloud, CI/CD and infrastructure as code. Its advertising page lists newsletter mentions as well as sponsored posts, banners and other formats. It calls this an upcoming monthly newsletter. That wording establishes an advertised option, not a verified history of delivered editions.
Ask whether the offer is a newsletter mention, an article, a site placement or a combination; a site audience claim should not be treated as a count of newsletter recipients. Confirm the current schedule and creative requirements directly because a listed option does not establish inventory for a particular date.
How They Scaled: standalone email or a wider package
How They Scaled describes engineering scaling stories and a weekly newsletter for backend, infrastructure and platform engineers. Its sponsor page offers a combined site/newsletter package and newsletter-only options. The weekly sponsored block is described as 40 to 60 words near the top of an issue.
This is an early-stage option: the page says the publication launched in October 2026 and the audience is small. Consider it for a narrow infrastructure explanation, then assess its current evidence rather than substituting its case-study library size for newsletter reach. Clarify whether the proposal covers an individual issue or a month of editions.
LearnKube: Kubernetes-focused packages
LearnKube describes a Kubernetes-focused learning community and a news sponsorship program spanning newsletters and other channels. Its page describes 90-day campaigns, with social/newsletter distribution up to 4 times a month. Select it for Kubernetes-specific technical content and establish which publication carries the message.
The publisher also describes events and other media. Those audiences should not be added together as if they were distinct newsletter subscribers, and a package's full reach should not be treated as the reach of one email issue. Confirm the current dates, creative process and report for the requested placement.
ProdCraft: a labelled weekly placement
ProdCraft describes an engineering audience spanning DevOps, platform, SRE, backend and other technical roles. Its advertising page lists a labelled newsletter sponsorship alongside display and topic sponsorships. The range of topics is broader than a single DevOps job title.
Ask for the current newsletter schedule and placement details, and distinguish an email placement from topic pages or display inventory. The publisher's description of its audience is self-reported; it does not establish that a particular issue reaches only platform engineers.
How we picked and ordered the list
We included a publication when its own public page described a newsletter placement and an engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud or platform context relevant to the question. Devshot is included as a broader developer option and is identified as Dupple-owned. The list is alphabetical by publication name, not ordered by reported audience size or expected results. We did not verify whether each option has inventory on a particular date or shares ownership with another publication.
These eight entries are a shortlist, not every publication in the market. Publisher pages can change, and the descriptions and subscriber figures are not independent audience audits. We do not print individual publisher prices. Ask each publisher for current terms, disclosures, measurement and the exact placement being sold.
Before comparing proposals, send the same technical brief to each publisher: the problem, intended reader, destination and desired action. Ask whether the proposed destination is acceptable, how the placement is labelled and which clicks the report includes. That makes differences in format and reporting easier to assess without assuming identical audiences.
What we could not verify
We could not establish a common count of DevOps practitioners across these newsletters, a comparable open rate, available inventory or a guaranteed campaign outcome. Dupple's own figures come from its email platform and self-reported post-signup quiz data and are not independently audited by us. A broad engineering role or subscriber count does not establish a particular reader's title, purchase authority or response. No customer case study or performance claim is used here.
FAQ
Which newsletters reach DevOps or platform engineers?
Several publishers in this shortlist describe DevOps, SRE or platform engineering among their contexts, including DevOps Bulletin and DevOps'ish. Ask each for current audience evidence and the exact issue or placement.
Is Devshot exclusively a DevOps newsletter?
No. Dupple describes Devshot as a developer newsletter with several technology roles among its readership. Its full subscriber count is not a count of DevOps practitioners.
Are website visitors the same as newsletter subscribers?
No. A publisher may offer site, newsletter and event placements. Ask which audience and measurements apply to the specific item in a proposal.
Can I compare publisher open rates directly?
Not reliably without understanding definitions and measurement differences, including Apple Mail Privacy Protection. Compare the reported metrics and their limitations with the actual campaign goal.
Does a newsletter click guarantee a qualified lead?
No. A click is a reported interaction. Define and measure qualification separately using data you are permitted to collect.
