What is Parim?
Workforce management platform for scheduling, time tracking, and compliance
Parim takes the repetitive HR work off your plate, things like onboarding paperwork, time tracking, leave management, and compliance checklists. It's the kind of software that pays for itself by giving your HR team hours back every week.
How We Evaluated Parim
We scored Parim on five things: employee onboarding, time tracking, performance management, compliance features, and reporting. Same rubric we use for every hr tool in the directory, so the scores are comparable.
That meant using the product, testing the features that matter most for hr work, reading the docs, and checking whether pricing is upfront or hidden behind a sales call. We also compared it against Deel and Soul Link to see where it stands.
Key Features
What Parim actually gives you:
- Performance Tracking: Track and measure performance across key metrics
- Security & Compliance: Enterprise-grade security with compliance standards support
- Core Functionality: Purpose-built feature set for hr workflows
- User Interface: Clean interface designed for productivity
Pricing
Parim doesn't list pricing publicly on their website, so you'll need to reach out to their sales team for a quote. That's fairly common for tools aimed at larger teams, but it does make it harder to evaluate quickly.
To give you a rough sense of the market, comparable hr tools like Deel and Soul Link charge in the range of custom pricing to custom pricing/mo, which should help you calibrate expectations.
Pros and Cons
What we like
- This is a tool built specifically for hr, which means the features are tailored to real use cases in this space rather than being generic functionality that sort of applies
- It automates the repetitive administrative work (onboarding checklists, time tracking, compliance documentation) that eats up your HR team's week and doesn't require a human touch
- It focuses on doing one thing well rather than trying to be a Swiss Army knife, which usually means the core features get more development attention and polish than they would in an all-in-one platform
What could be better
- Pricing isn't listed publicly, so you'll have to sit through a sales call just to find out if it's in your budget. That alone is a friction point for smaller teams
- Depending on your existing setup, you may need to do extra integration work to connect it with your payroll provider, benefits platform, or other HR systems
- Larger organizations with complex requirements may find that some of the advanced features they expect from enterprise software are missing or underdeveloped

Who It's For (and Who It's Not)
Good fit: Parim makes the most sense for HR teams managing 20 or more employees where manual processes for onboarding, time-off tracking, and performance reviews are starting to create bottlenecks and eat up too much administrative time. If that sounds like your situation, it's worth at least testing it out.
Skip it if: you have fewer than 10 people. At that size, basic templates and spreadsheets still handle HR tasks without needing dedicated software. In that case, you might want to look at Deel as a lighter-weight option.
Bottom Line
We gave Parim 3.9/5. Does its core job well. Worth the investment if hr is central to your daily work. If you only need it occasionally, look at a simpler option.
In short: Parim is a strong choice for HR teams managing 20 or more employees where manual processes for onboarding. you have fewer than 10 people.
Try ParimHow PARiM works
PARiM is workforce management software for shift-based, hourly workforces. It combines scheduling, time and attendance, absence, and pay-and-charge (payroll cost plus client billing) in one system. Everything sits on top of a staff database where each person carries positions, qualifications and licences, so shifts can be matched to the people who are actually allowed to work them.
The setup path is straightforward. You build the staff database (positions, qualifications, documents, vetting status), define job locations and clients, then create schedules using shift templates and repeating patterns per location and position. Time capture happens three ways: the mobile app with GPS, a tablet kiosk time clock, or NFC tags. You then configure pay rates, charge rates and working-time compliance rules, and the pay-and-charge module turns approved timesheets into both payroll figures and client invoices from the same source.
Managers work from a dashboard of pending items: shift applications, timesheets, absence requests and document approvals. Staff use an iOS or Android app to view and apply for shifts, clock in with GPS, and file absence requests or incidents. A client portal lets end customers request shifts and see coverage themselves. Beyond the roster, PARiM carries operational modules aimed at security and events work: lone-worker check calls, NFC guard-tour checkpoints, incident reporting, SIA licence checks, and asset or equipment tracking. Those specialist capabilities (Events manager, Checkpoints with NFC and iBeacon, Incident reporting, Check calls, Assets) are sold as add-on modules on top of the base plan.
Integrations are named rather than vague: Xero, Sage 50 and QuickBooks for accounting, Wagestream for earned-wage access, IDGateway for vetting, Zapier for glue, and 40+ HRIS systems including ADP, BambooHR, Personio, Workday and Rippling for staff-record import. A public API covers anything outside that list.
Where PARiM wins
- Vertical depth generic schedulers lack. SIA licence checking, lone-worker check calls, NFC guard-tour checkpoints and incident reporting are first-class product modules, not workarounds built from custom fields.
- Pay and charge in the same engine. One approved timesheet produces both the payroll cost and the client invoice, which is the real pain for staffing agencies and security firms.
- Named integrations. Xero, Sage 50 and QuickBooks for accounting, plus 40+ HRIS connectors including ADP, BambooHR, Personio, Workday and Rippling.
- Unlimited users on every plan. Pricing is driven by functionality and monthly shift volume, not per seat, so a large casual workforce does not inflate the bill.
- A dedicated Events module for one-off large-scale staffing (festivals, stadium work), where you staff thousands of people for a few days and need replacement-finding and coverage monitoring.
- Stated scale: 330,000+ active users across 150,000+ worksites, so this is not an untested product.
Where it falls short
- No free trial and no self-serve signup. Pricing starts from £47/month, but the real number comes from a sales quote based on your functionality and shift volume, so you cannot evaluate or budget it without talking to sales.
- Key operational features are paid add-ons. Events manager, Checkpoints, Incident reporting, Check calls and Assets all sit outside the base tiers, so the £47 entry point understates cost for exactly the security and events buyers the product targets.
- Strongly UK and EU shaped. SIA licence checks, IDGateway vetting, Wagestream, Sage 50 and GBP-first pricing all point at the UK market. A US buyer gets less of the compliance value and fewer native fits.
- Accounting integrations are export-oriented (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) rather than true payroll bureau connections, so for many payroll providers you are back to file exports or the API.
- The vendor site is thin on configuration detail. Rate rules, skills matching and client-portal setup are described only at marketing level, so setup effort has to be scoped on a demo call rather than assessed up front.
Who should use PARiM
PARiM fits security firms, event and festival staffing companies, and temp or recruitment agencies in the UK and Europe running hundreds to thousands of hourly workers across many sites. It makes most sense when compliance evidence (licences, check calls, guard tours) and client re-billing matter as much as the roster itself, because that is where the add-on modules and the pay-and-charge engine earn their cost.
Skip it if you are a small single-site team wanting a cheap self-serve rota, since the sales-led model and add-on pricing are heavy for that job. Skip it if you are US-based and expect the compliance features to map to your regulations, because the licence checking and vetting integrations are built around UK requirements. And skip it if your buying process requires trialling software before a sales conversation, because that option does not exist here.
