  • 4 plans compared: Free, Plus, Business, Enterprise
  • Free (best for: Trying v0 on a small page): $0
  • Plus (best for: One person building pages and simple tools): $30 per user a month
  • Business (best for: Teams whose code or data must stay out of training): $100 per user a month
  • Enterprise (best for: Companies needing SAML SSO, roles and SLAs): Custom

Short answer: v0 by Vercel has a Free plan with a 7-message daily limit, Plus at $30 per user a month with $30 of monthly credits, Business at $100 per user a month, and custom Enterprise pricing. Anything past the included credits is billed per million tokens, from $0.20 input on v0 Mini to $50 output on v0 Max Fast. Verified on v0's pricing page in November 2026.

What changed this year matters more than the sticker price. The old Premium and Ultra plans are gone from the plan cards, and usage is now priced in tokens per model, so the same afternoon of building can cost a few cents or several dollars depending on which model you pick.

How much does v0 cost per month?

On a paid plan you pay the seat price, then tokens once the included credits run out. Plus and Business include the same monthly credit allowance per user and the same $2 of free credits on each daily login; Business adds training opt-out by default. Unused monthly credits roll over for one month on paid plans, so a quiet month cushions the next busy one but cannot be banked for a quarter.

Free has no on-demand option: v0 says Free users must upgrade to a paid plan to buy more usage, which makes the daily message cap a true ceiling. New users also get $5 in one-time credits that do not renew.

When a paid account runs dry, v0 says it pauses generation until you add credits. There is no surprise overage bill, but there is a hard stop in the middle of a build, so a deadline week is when to top up in advance.

What does a month of v0 really cost?

Take one person at a small company building a landing page and a simple internal tool, hosted on Vercel, since every v0 plan deploys there.

Usage level v0 plan Extra credits Vercel hosting Total a month
Light: stays inside included credits Plus $30 $0 Pro $20 $50
Medium: some longer build sessions Plus $30 $20 Pro $20 $70
Heavy: daily building on bigger models Plus $30 $100 Pro $20 $150
Same heavy use, training opt-out needed Business $100 $100 Pro $20 $220

Our arithmetic on prices read on v0's and Vercel's pricing pages in November 2026. The extra-credit amounts are example budgets, not measured usage.

The hosting line is not optional for a business. Vercel's Hobby plan is $0 but, in Vercel's words, "for personal, non-commercial use", so a company landing page belongs on Vercel Pro, which includes a matching amount of usage credit. And v0's FAQ is explicit that v0 "is not included in your Vercel Hobby, Pro, or Enterprise subscription": the two bills stack.

Dupple data: in our heavy-use row, choosing Business only for training opt-out adds $70 per user a month, or $840 a year, for the same included credits (our arithmetic on v0's plan cards, November 2026).

What do v0 credits buy?

Credits are dollars spent on tokens, and each model has its own rate per million tokens:

What do v0 credits buy?: v0 Pricing 2026: What Plus, Business and Credits Cost a Small Team. Last updated November 2026.
Model Input Cache write Cache read Output
v0 Mini $0.20 $0.25 $0.02 $1.20
v0 Pro $2 $2.50 $0.20 $10
v0 Max $5 $6.25 $0.50 $25
v0 Max Fast $10 $12.50 $1 $50

The input side is bigger than most people expect. v0 explains that every generation includes chat history, source files and Vercel-specific knowledge as context, which counts as input even when your prompt is one line. If tokens are new to you, our explainer on what a token is in AI covers the basics.

A worked example (our arithmetic, illustrative token counts): a message that sends 50,000 tokens of context and gets 5,000 back costs about $0.016 on v0 Mini, $0.15 on v0 Pro, $0.375 on v0 Max and $0.75 on v0 Max Fast, before any cache discount. Plus's included credits would cover roughly 200 such messages on v0 Pro, or 40 on Max Fast.

The practical rule: draft and iterate on Mini or Pro, and save Max for the hard step. Max Fast costs twice v0 Max for 2.5x faster output, which is worth it only when you are waiting on every reply.

Is v0 free?

Yes, with limits: the Free plan costs $0 and allows 7 messages a day, plus deploys to Vercel, Design Mode for visual edits and GitHub sync. That is enough to sketch a page or test whether v0 fits your work, not to build a working tool in one sitting.

The catch for business use is training. Only Business turns training opt-out on by default, and Enterprise states your data is never used for training, so on Free and Plus training opt-out is not switched on for you. Our free vibe coding tools list compares other free options.

v0 Plus vs Business: which do I need?

Plus is the right plan for most individuals and small teams. It includes every model, the monthly credit allowance, extra credit purchases shared across the team, chat sharing and billing through vercel.com.

Business costs more than three times as much and adds one listed feature: training opt-out by default. That is a compliance purchase, not a capacity one. If your company handles client code, regulated data or anything under NDA, the $70 premium per seat may be cheaper than the conversation with your legal team; if you are building a marketing page, it is not.

Is v0 included in Vercel Pro?

No. v0's own FAQ uses the example of a one-member Vercel Pro team plus a v0 plan, billed separately for a combined monthly total. Vercel Pro has its own monthly price and usage credit, set out on Vercel's pricing page. Our Claude Code pricing breakdown shows the same pattern of a tool bill on top of the platform you already pay for.

What happened to v0 Premium and Ultra?

The plan cards now list Free, Plus, Business and Enterprise only. v0's FAQ says the Ultra plan "has been sunset", that Ultra users move to Premium automatically and can buy on-demand credits, and that existing Ultra users get an additional $200 credit. Premium survives as a legacy plan: v0's billing FAQ still prices it at $20 in its Vercel example, and its cancellation steps still mention it. Older articles that describe a "Premium $20" or "Team $30" plan describe those legacy names.

Hidden costs to budget for

  • Hosting: Vercel Pro for any commercial site, on top of v0.
  • Hard stops: generation pauses when credits run out; top-ups are the only way to continue.
  • Credit expiry: purchased credits expire after one year, and included monthly credits roll over for one month only.
  • No refunds: v0 says it generally does not refund because each model call has a cost.
  • No discounts: v0 offers no student, nonprofit or purchasing-power discounts, and does not accept PayPal.
  • Training opt-out: only by default on Business ($100 per user) and above.

Toolradar data: Toolradar, our software directory, tracks 163 app builders as of 28 October 2026; 69% of them are free, freemium or open source, and the median cheapest paid plan is $25 a month across the 43 that publish a price (Toolradar app builder ranking, v0 on Toolradar). v0's Plus sits just above that median.

Is v0 cheaper than Bolt or Lovable?

Against Bolt, the entry prices are close but measured differently. Bolt's pricing page lists Pro at $25 a month billed monthly with 10M tokens a month that roll over, Teams priced per member, and a Free plan with 1M tokens a month and a 300K daily cap. v0 sells dollars of credit spent at per-model rates, Bolt sells a token allowance, so the cheaper one depends on how many tokens your builds burn. Lovable prices by credits too; check the current price on Lovable's site.

For a broader comparison of these builders, see our vibe coding tools ranking and Bolt alternatives guide. If a landing page is the whole job, our landing page builders ranking may fit better. If you want a design-first site builder instead, our Framer pricing breakdown and AI website builders ranking cover that route, and the app builders ranking lists no-code options for internal tools.

How we checked these prices

Every plan price, credit allowance, token rate and FAQ rule was read on v0.app/pricing in November 2026, and Vercel's plan prices on vercel.com/pricing the same day; Bolt's on bolt.new/pricing. Scenario totals and per-message costs are our arithmetic on those printed prices, with example credit budgets and token counts rather than measured usage. Prices are re-checked every 60 days.

Bottom line

For one person building pages and light tools, v0 Plus plus Vercel Pro is a $50-a-month setup, and the bill only grows if you lean on the bigger models. Watch the model picker more than the plan: about 40 of our example messages on Max Fast use up a month of Plus credits. Pay for Business only when training opt-out is a real requirement.
