What Is Stamped?
Stamped is the customer review, loyalty, and referral platform for Shopify and BigCommerce stores. The product combines verified product reviews, photo and video UGC, loyalty programs with points and tiers, and referral campaigns in one bundled platform.
The pitch is reviews and loyalty in one stack. Most stores buy Yotpo for reviews and Smile.io for loyalty, paying for two SaaS subscriptions and managing two separate dashboards. Stamped bundles them at lower total cost. The unified data layer also lets you reward customers for leaving reviews and convert review writers into loyalty program members.
The product targets DTC brands at small to mid-market scale. Solo Shopify operators find the bundle valuable; enterprise brands with $50M+ revenue often prefer category specialists (Yotpo for reviews, Smile.io for loyalty) for deeper individual capability.

Install the Shopify app. Stamped pulls your order history and customer database. Configure review request automation: how many days after delivery to email customers, what subject line, which products are eligible.
Customers receive review request emails with one-click submission. Reviews capture star ratings, written feedback, photos, and videos. The platform moderates reviews for content policy violations and displays approved reviews on your product pages.
Google Seller Ratings and Google Shopping integration sync verified reviews to Google ad campaigns. Schema.org markup ensures reviews appear in search results, improving organic click-through rates.
Loyalty programs let customers earn points for purchases, reviews, signups, social shares, and referrals. Redemption options include dollar-off discounts, free shipping, free products, exclusive access. Tiered VIP programs add higher earn rates and perks for top customers.
Referral campaigns reward both the referrer and the new customer. Referrers earn points or cash; new customers get a welcome discount. Tracking links and codes attribute referrals automatically.
Stamped Pricing in 2026
Basic: $23/month annually. 100 orders/month, basic reviews.
Premium: $59/month annually. 500 orders, advanced reviews features, basic loyalty.
Business: $149/month annually. 2,000 orders, full loyalty, referrals.
Enterprise: Custom for high-volume merchants.
Compared to Yotpo + Smile.io stack (typical $200-$500/month combined for SMB), Stamped is significantly cheaper. The trade-off is depth: individual features less deep than category specialists.
See Stamped Plans See plans →Where Stamped Wins
- Bundled value: reviews + loyalty + referrals at significantly less than separate tools.
- Unified data layer: customer behavior across reviews and loyalty drives better personalization.
- Google integration: reviews flow to Google Seller Ratings and Shopping.
- Photo and video UGC: visual reviews drive conversion better than text-only.
- Easier setup than separate tools: one platform, one onboarding.
Where It Falls Short
- Reviews feature less deep than Yotpo: large brands may need Yotpo's advanced moderation and display options.
- Loyalty feature less deep than Smile.io: complex tier structures and rewards may exceed Stamped's flexibility.
- UI varies in polish: some screens feel less refined than others.
- Integration ecosystem smaller: covers majors but lacks the long-tail integrations Yotpo offers.

Yotpo is the enterprise reviews leader with deeper features and brand recognition. Pricier; better for $5M+ revenue brands.
Loox is the photo-reviews specialist on Shopify. Excellent visual reviews but limited loyalty.
Smile.io is the loyalty specialist on Shopify. Best-in-class loyalty UX but no reviews component.
The Point Co targets similar bundled loyalty space.
Who Should Use Stamped
Shopify and BigCommerce stores wanting both reviews and loyalty: bundle saves cost.
SMB brands not yet at Yotpo/Smile.io scale: simpler tool stack.
Stores prioritizing visual UGC: photo and video reviews drive conversion.
Skip it if: you need best-in-class reviews specifically (use Yotpo), best-in-class loyalty (use Smile.io), or operate at enterprise scale where each category needs depth.
How Stamped works
Stamped is an ecommerce retention suite built around customer-generated content: product and site reviews, a points, VIP and referral loyalty program, photo and video UGC, and Q&A. The vendor sells it as three billing products (Reviews, Loyalty, or the Full Suite combining both) plus a Lifecycle module and StampedIQ, an AI layer that scores review sentiment and extracts topics. Stamped claims 75,000 ecommerce brands.
On Shopify, Shopify Plus and BigCommerce you install the app and Stamped injects the main review widget, star badges and the loyalty launcher for you. On WooCommerce, Magento or a custom build it is a manual job: drop the widget.min.js script in the header with your public API key and store hash, add a div carrying data-product-id, name, url and image attributes on the product template, and push order data through the REST API. Rich snippets on custom platforms only work if your store already emits Product JSON-LD with a matching @id, because Stamped's script simply appends aggregateRating to existing schema. Loyalty on a custom platform means calling StampedFn.initRewards() with customerId, email, tags, totalOrders, totalSpent and an HMAC authToken.
Reviews are collected mainly through automated post-purchase email sequences with the review form embedded directly in the email. Beyond that you can use SMS reminders, the on-page widget, a self-hosted write-a-review page, or the API. Collected reviews are pushed out to Google Shopping, Google Seller Ratings, Bing and Microsoft Merchant Center, and Meta. Integrations configured from Settings > Apps include Klaviyo (reviews and loyalty, on all paid plans), Attentive, Gorgias, Kustomer, Swell Rewards and Shopify Flow, where Stamped events work as both triggers and actions. Getting data in is a CSV import of reviews and loyalty records, and a cross-platform move needs a CSV mapping old_product_id to product_id.
Where Stamped wins
- One account for reviews and loyalty. Reviews, loyalty points, VIP tiers and referrals run off a single account and a shared order limit rather than two vendors.
- Several real collection channels. SMS reminders, the review form embedded in the email itself, the product-page widget, a self-hosted review page, and the REST API, not email alone.
- Distribution is built in. A Google Shopping product review feed, Google Seller Ratings, a Microsoft Bing Merchant Center feed included in the plan, and Meta syndication to Facebook and Instagram on any paid plan.
- StampedIQ covers roughly 15 languages including Arabic, Japanese, Thai, Korean and Chinese for sentiment and topic analysis, and it auto-flags reviews whose text contradicts the star rating.
- Escape hatches for odd stacks. A documented REST API, a plain-script widget install for any custom platform, and widgets you can embed on WordPress, a blog or a landing page outside the store.
- A concrete migration path: CSV import templates for reviews and loyalty, a product-ID remapping service when you change ecommerce platforms, and a contract-buyout program for switchers.
Where it falls short
- Billing counts orders, not reviews. Every order in your store counts against the monthly limit whether or not a request was sent and whether or not the customer touched loyalty. Exclusion rules cut sends but not consumption. Hit the cap and review requests stop entirely until you upgrade or the month rolls over, with queued requests at risk of archival.
- No free tier any more. Starter has been discontinued, and per Stamped's own billing documentation you must be on a paid plan to display reviews in the widgets at all.
- Narrow native support: Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. Magento no longer has a dedicated Loyalty install and is routed to the custom-platform script and API path, with Loyalty 2.0 support for Magento ended.
- Heavy tier gating. NPS surveys, Google Seller Ratings, Instagram curation and Attentive need Professional or above, StampedIQ sentiment and topics plus loyalty layout editing need Business or above, Gorgias and points-program rule conditions need Premium or above, and VIP tiers are Professional-only.
- Some loyalty features depend on your ecommerce plan, not Stamped's. The checkout redemption widget and gift-card rewards require Shopify Plus, and store-credit rewards exist only on BigCommerce.
- Mismatched cycles. Order limits reset on the 1st of the calendar month while your subscription renews on your signup date.
Who should use Stamped
Stamped fits Shopify or BigCommerce brands that want reviews and a points, VIP and referral program from one vendor, and that are comfortable on Professional or above, since that is where NPS, VIP tiers, Instagram curation and the useful integrations actually unlock. It is also a reasonable target for teams migrating off a pricier incumbent, given the CSV imports and the buyout program.
Skip it if you are on Magento, if you run a headless or custom stack without developer time for the script and API install, if you need a free tier, or if your store does high order volume with few reviewers: you pay for orders, not reviews.
