Our Verdict
Pin is a practical first AI recruiting tool for small and mid-sized hiring teams, agencies and founders who do their own sourcing. It puts candidate search, outreach sequences, interview scheduling and a recruiting CRM in one product, has a permanent free plan, and publishes every price except its top tier. The trade-offs are that it is not an applicant tracking system, ATS sync costs extra below the Business plan, and contact credits are capped, so high-volume outreach needs planning.
We judged Pin on its published pricing, product pages, security information and the customer figures it releases, and we checked its plans on its own pricing page in October 2026. We did not run a live hiring search through the platform, so anything Pin reports about its own results is labelled as Pin's claim.

Pin is built by Love Thy Recruiting, Inc., which says it was founded in 2024 by CEO Steven Lu and is backed by $3M in seed funding from Expa. Pin also says the team previously built Interseller, which Greenhouse acquired. The product targets four groups: solo and agency recruiters who want sourcing and outreach without stitching several tools together, in-house talent teams that need more candidates than inbound applications give them, founders making their first hires, and hiring managers, for whom Pin pitches a Slack-based workflow.
It works best for professional and technical roles. Pin says its search draws on professional networks, GitHub, Crunchbase and Kaggle, along with other data providers, so the strongest fit is software, product and similar professional roles that leave a public trail. It is a weaker choice if most of your hiring is high-volume hourly work, where a screening and scheduling tool is a better match.
What Stands Out
Search by describing the role
You paste a job description or write the role in plain English, and Pin returns a ranked shortlist with a fit score and short reasoning for each candidate. You can refine the results with plain-language filters such as "must have shipped at Series B+" or "avoid consultancies", instead of writing Boolean strings. Pin says it searches more than 850 million profiles across multiple data providers, a figure from its AI sourcing page that we could not audit independently.
Outreach and scheduling in the same product
Matched candidates can go straight into sequences. Pin drafts each message from the candidate's profile, and it says it keeps every channel in one thread: email, direct messages and SMS on paid plans, while the free plan is limited to email-only sequences. Any reply pauses the sequence and routes to your inbox, which is a shared inbox on Professional. When a candidate answers with interest, Pin's scheduling feature checks your calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook or Cal.com), handles time zones and books the slot. Pin's scheduling page says it is included in every plan.

A recruiting CRM and an AI agent
Pin includes a pipeline-style CRM with unlimited pipelines, notes and an activity feed, and it connects to more than 120 applicant tracking systems, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Bullhorn, iCIMS and Jobvite. A separate AI recruiting agent can source, screen and sequence candidates on its own and hand back a ranked shortlist for approval. Pin also offers an MCP server so you can drive searches from Claude or ChatGPT; it lists ten tools and OAuth 2.1 sign-in.
Results Pin reports, and where they come from
Pin publishes a customer results page built on its own 2026 user survey, which it describes as covering 2,000+ organizations. The survey reports an average time-to-fill of 14 days, 12 hours saved per recruiter each week on sourcing and outreach combined, and 83% of recommended candidates accepted into customers' pipelines. These are Pin's own figures, and the page does not describe how the survey was run, so treat them as indicative. Pin also reports a 4.8 out of 5 rating on its G2 profile, which readers can check there. Pin also states that it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified.
Where It Falls Short
It is not an ATS
Pin finds and engages candidates; it does not replace your applicant tracking system. Most teams will run it next to Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. ATS sync is included on the Business plan but is a paid add-on on Solo and Professional, so a team keeping its ATS should price that in.
Credits cap the heavy months
Contact lookups are metered. The free plan includes 5 credits a week, Solo includes 500 a month, and Professional includes 1,000 per seat each month. Only Business has unlimited credits. A team running large outbound campaigns can hit the cap before the month ends.
Billing and plan limits
The Solo plan is sold on annual billing only and covers a single seat. Business pricing is not published, and SSO/SAML and SCIM sit at that level. Pin was founded in 2024, so it has a shorter track record than long-established recruiting suites.
No interview notes
Pin does not record or summarise interviews. Teams that want AI note-taking will need a separate tool such as Metaview alongside it.
How Pin Compares
Against search-first tools such as Juicebox, the question is how much of the workflow each one covers on its own: Pin's pitch is that search, outreach, scheduling and a CRM all sit in one product, so compare what you would still have to connect for each tool. LinkedIn Recruiter searches LinkedIn's own network, while Pin says it searches several data providers in one query. Against full ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby, Pin is a complement rather than a competitor, because it sits upstream of the pipeline those tools manage. Pricing
Pin publishes its plans on its pricing page. Annual billing is the default, and the plan prices below are per user per month.
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, no credit card | 1 seat, 1 open position, 1 AI agent, 3 searches a day, 5 contact credits a week, email-only sequences |
| Solo | $99 per month, billed annually only | 1 seat, unlimited positions, 2 AI agents, 500 contact credits a month, multi-channel sequences |
| Professional | $135 per user per month billed annually ($179 month to month) | 2 AI agents per user, 1,000 credits per seat each month, team collaboration and shared inbox, advanced agent sourcing |
| Business | Custom quote | Unlimited seats, credits and AI agents, ATS integrations included, dedicated account manager, SSO/SAML and SCIM |
ATS integration is an add-on on Solo and Professional. The free plan is enough to test the search and a first sequence, which makes the comparison with a paid tool easy before you commit.
Who Should Use Pin, and Who Should Skip It
Pin suits you if your bottleneck is finding candidates rather than tracking them, if you want one tool for search, outreach and scheduling, and if you hire professional or technical roles. It is a reasonable start for a founder making the first hires, because the free plan costs nothing to try, and for agencies that want a shared inbox and team seats on Professional.
Skip it, or pair it with another tool, if you need an applicant tracking system, AI interview notes, or high-volume hourly screening. Teams with heavy outbound volumes should also compare credit limits before choosing Solo or Professional, and enterprise buyers will need to talk to sales for Business pricing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Pin?
Pin is an AI recruiting platform from Love Thy Recruiting, Inc. It combines AI candidate sourcing, outreach sequences, interview scheduling and a recruiting CRM in one product, and it connects to more than 120 applicant tracking systems.
Does Pin have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan costs $0 with no credit card and includes 1 seat, 1 open position, 1 AI agent, 3 searches a day, 5 contact credits a week and email-only sequences.
How much does Pin cost?
Solo is $99 per month on annual billing, and Professional is $135 per user per month billed annually ($179 month to month). Business is a custom quote. ATS integration is an add-on on Solo and Professional and is included on Business.
Is Pin an applicant tracking system?
No. Pin handles sourcing, outreach, scheduling and a candidate CRM, and it syncs with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Bullhorn, iCIMS and Jobvite. Most teams use it alongside their ATS.
How many profiles does Pin search?
Pin says it searches more than 850 million profiles across multiple data providers. That figure is Pin's own and we have not audited it, so test the search on a role you know before you rely on it.
Are Pin's survey results reliable?
They come from Pin's own 2026 user survey, and the results page does not describe how the survey was run, so we treat them as indicative. The figures it reports are a 14-day average time-to-fill, 12 hours saved per recruiter a week, and 83% of recommended candidates accepted into pipelines.
Is Pin secure?
Pin states that it is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. SSO/SAML and SCIM are available at the Business level, so teams with security reviews should confirm details with Pin before buying.
The Bottom Line
Pin is a sensible all-in-one starting point for AI recruiting: search, outreach, scheduling and a CRM in a single product, with a free plan to test it and clear public pricing up to the Business tier. Its limits are the ones to plan for: it is not an ATS, ATS sync is extra below Business, and credits cap heavy outreach. If finding candidates is your bottleneck, start on the free plan and check the credit and ATS costs against your hiring volume before you move to a paid seat.
