All vendor prices here are the dollar prices the vendors show US visitors, read on 19 Oct 2026, and none is converted from another currency. Each row prices the entry paid plan for 12 months, with site traffic inside that plan's limit.
My contrarian take rests on a pricing contrast. Visitor identification names the companies already reading your site and can be tried on a free plan. Third-party intent names companies researching your category elsewhere, and the five quote-only vendors that sell it give you no price to budget with. That is my reading of the published prices, not a measure of which approach produces more pipeline.
Dupple data: we read 10 vendor pricing pages on 19 Oct 2026, 4 publish a fixed paid price (RB2B, Leadfeeder, Clay, Hunter), LeadIQ prices Pro with a credit slider, and 5 publish no price at all.
Toolradar data: Toolradar tracks 119 sales intelligence tools as of October 19, 2026; 40% of them are free, freemium or open source, and the median cheapest paid plan is $59 a month (converted to a monthly figure) across the 40 that publish a price.
What is B2B intent data?
B2B intent data is any signal that a company may be shopping for what you sell: visits to your own site, research activity elsewhere, job postings or funding news. Bombora's page says these signals come from first-party and third-party sources. Leadfeeder and RB2B work from visits to your own website, and Bombora's data co-op covers the third-party side.
How we chose
I compared the pricing and product pages of 10 vendors for a team where everyone needs access. We do not run these products, so each price, limit and feature is what the vendor states, with its billing basis. Picks 1 to 5 publish prices or a price slider and are ordered by how directly they show a small team which companies are interested. Picks 6 to 10 do not, and run from the vendor whose product is intent (Bombora) to the one whose pricing page never describes it (Demandbase). Prices are re-checked every 60 days.
Leadfeeder: the best first buy, priced by traffic and not by seat
Leadfeeder identifies the companies that visit your site. Lite is $0, which the page calls free forever, and shows the last 100 companies a month. Discover starts at $79 a month billed annually ($113 billed monthly) for up to 50 companies, with CRM sync, real-time alerts and API access, and reaches $309 a month billed annually ($441 monthly) at 501 to 1,000 companies. Activate starts at $369 billed annually ($527 monthly) and adds verified emails and phones, an intent-signal filter and B2B display campaigns. Scale starts at $599, billed annually only.
Every plan has unlimited users and no seat fees, so the whole team costs what one person would. The weak spot is scope: Discover is built around the companies that visit you, while filters by tech stack, intent topics and hiring signals start on Activate, so the entry plan is mostly visitor identification.
Pick it when your site draws steady B2B traffic and you use a CRM, and judge Activate only after the free plan shows how many companies it names.
RB2B: US person-level visitor IDs on paid plans, with a free company-level plan
RB2B sells resolutions, which its page defines as one identified website visitor. Free is $0 for 150 monthly resolutions at company level, pushed to Slack. Starter is $79 a month for 300, with person-level ID (US only) and LinkedIn URLs sent to Slack or Teams, but no emails or other integrations. Pro starts at $149 from 600 resolutions and adds business emails, every integration, Hot Pages (high-intent tagging) and Hot Leads (ICP filtering). Pro+ starts at $199 with Premium Resolution, which RB2B says lifts coverage from 15-20% to 35-45%. RB2B lists monthly prices only, and extra resolutions cost 45¢ each on Starter and 25¢ on Pro and Pro+.
The weak spot is coverage: person-level ID is US only, and at 15-20% on Starter and Pro it will not name every visitor.
Pick it when much of your traffic is American and a name plus a LinkedIn URL in Slack is enough to start, then move to Pro for emails or a CRM sync.
Clay: signals on a list you build, paid for in credits
Clay enriches lists with data from 150+ providers and adds signals on top. Free is $0 with 100 Data Credits and 500 actions each month, and no signals. Launch is $167 a month billed annually ($185 billed monthly) with 15,000 actions, 2,500 Data Credits, and job-change, company-news and social signals. Growth is $446 billed annually ($495 billed monthly) with 40,000 actions, 6,000 Data Credits, CRM auto-sync and web intent signals. Users are unlimited on every plan.
Data Credits buy the data itself, start at $0.05 each and are the hidden cost of any bill, and extra credits carry a 30% premium on Launch and Growth. Its Bombora integration page lists a company topic intent lookup that runs on Clay credits and is included on all plans.
The weak spot is that web intent starts on Growth, over twice the Launch price. Verdict: Pick it when one person will own the tables and you want signals on accounts you have already named, and move to Growth only if web intent is why you bought.
Hunter: email lookup with job-posting and funding signals
Hunter finds and verifies business emails, and its Signals feature offers what the page calls intent data: job postings and funding news, updated daily. Free includes 50 monthly credits. Starter is $34 a month billed yearly ($49 billed monthly), Growth is $104 billed yearly ($149 monthly) and Scale is $209 billed yearly ($299 monthly). Unlimited team members come on every plan, a credit is 1 per email found, and the comparison table runs Signals from 10 on Free to 200 on Growth. Other email finders are compared in our sales prospecting tools guide.
The weak spot is breadth: the product menu is outbound tools, so it does not replace the visitor tools above, and job postings and funding news are narrower than a topic feed.
Pick it when your team works mostly by email and wants a hiring or funding trigger beside the address.
LeadIQ: contact capture where the Pro price sits behind a slider
LeadIQ gives one user 50 credits on its $0 Free plan, which already lists job-change tracking for champions plus Signals such as 10-K filings, podcast mentions and hiring. Pro has no fixed price: you set a monthly credit volume on a slider from 200 to 6,750, annual billing takes 25% off, and the plan covers up to 5 users. Enterprise is contact-us and annual only. One credit buys an email, 10 buy a phone number and 3 buy an account enrichment, and any plan can be tried free for 30 days.
The weak spot is cost: Pro stops at 5 users and moves with the slider, so I cannot compute a 12-month figure for this team.
Pick it when reps work from LinkedIn profiles and want job-change alerts on named champions, after pricing a real credit volume on the slider.
Bombora: the dedicated third-party intent source, with no published price
Bombora does not publish a price, and its Data Co-op page points to "Speak to an expert". Its intent product, Company Surge, tracks research activity against 25,300+ topics and compares the latest three weeks with a 12-week baseline. The data comes from a co-op of publishers and B2B sites, with 86% of it shared exclusively with Bombora.
The weak spot is budgeting: you cannot cost a contract before the conversation.
Pick it when you need to know which accounts research your category on other sites.
ZoomInfo: intent inside platform bundles, with no published price
ZoomInfo does not publish a price; its page says cost depends on features, licenses and credit use. Copilot Advanced lists buyer intent signals and website visitors, Copilot Enterprise adds real-time and custom intent signals, and the marketing plans carry 25 intent topics (Marketing Demand), 100 (ABM Lite) or unlimited (ABM Enterprise). Streaming Intent is an add-on priced on keyword volume and account universe, and the sales plans offer a free trial. The contact databases beside these signals are compared in our guide to sales intelligence tools.
Pick it when you want contacts and intent on one contract and can take a quote.
6sense: three Sales Intelligence bundles, with no published price
6sense does not publish a price. Its page shows three bundles (Data Credits with Predictive AI, Data Credits only, or Predictive AI only), each listing 3rd Party Intent and Web Visitor Identification, and its call to action is a demo booking. Data credits cover exporting emails, phone numbers and enriched records. Account-based programs are the use case, and our ABM strategy for B2B SaaS covers the playbook side.
Pick it when an account-based program already exists and a demo fits your timeline.
Cognism: Bombora intent on the Pro package only, with no published price
Cognism does not publish a price. It sells Standard and Pro packages with 5 seats included in each, and one credit reveals one contact. Intent data is a Pro feature: Cognism says it uses Bombora's Company Surge data and limits administrators to 12 selected topics out of more than 11,000, so check that cap against your category.
Pick it when contact data is the main need and intent is a bonus.
Demandbase: a platform fee plus a per-user fee, with no published price
Demandbase does not publish a price. Its page asks you to fill out a form for a customised plan and describes a platform fee plus a flat fee per user, with Sales and Marketing sold together. The footer links a "Try Our B2B Intent Data" page, but the pricing page does not describe the intent offer.
Pick it when sales and marketing will share one account-based platform.
How much does B2B intent data cost?
Multiply a monthly price by 12 for the table's yearly figure, as in $167 x 12 = $2,004 for Clay Launch on annual billing. Annual billing is the hidden saving on Clay, taking $216 off a year of Launch (against $2,220 billed monthly) and $588 off Growth ($5,352 against $5,940), while RB2B lists no yearly option and Leadfeeder Scale has no monthly one. Volume is the other lever: Leadfeeder Discover reaches $309 a month billed annually at 501 to 1,000 identified companies, and RB2B charges 45¢ per resolution beyond the 300 on Starter. I read each price on the vendor's pricing page and linked it in the pick.
How to choose
Your site draws steady B2B traffic and you use a CRM: start with Leadfeeder and read its free Lite plan first.
Most visitors are in the US: try RB2B, starting on Free for company names and moving to Starter for person-level ID, which is US only.
You build target lists: Clay Launch, watching the Data Credits meter.
Your outreach is mostly email: Hunter, where unlimited team members add no seat cost.
You need topic intent from across the web: request a quote from Bombora, ZoomInfo or Cognism, and do not compare it with a Leadfeeder price, because one names who visited you and the other who is researching your topic elsewhere.
FAQ
What is the best B2B intent data provider in 2026?
For a 20-person B2B SaaS team, I would start with Leadfeeder Discover: billed annually, up to 50 identified companies a month, unlimited users. For third-party topic intent, Bombora is the dedicated source, but it does not publish a price.
How much does B2B intent data cost?
Visitor identification starts free on Leadfeeder Lite and RB2B Free, and Clay Launch is $167 a month billed annually. Bombora, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Cognism and Demandbase publish no price, so you need a quote to get a number.
Is there a free B2B intent data plan?
Yes. RB2B says you can stay on its free plan forever (150 monthly resolutions), Leadfeeder Lite shows the last 100 companies a month, Clay Free has 500 actions but no signals, and Hunter and LeadIQ have free plans too. Contact-record plans are compared in our roundup of free sales intelligence software.
Can I get Bombora data without buying from Bombora?
Two vendors route to it: Clay runs a Bombora lookup on its credits, and Cognism says its Pro package uses Bombora's Company Surge data. Neither page states what the Bombora data itself costs.
Does intent data replace revenue intelligence software?
No. Intent data says which accounts to approach, while call recording and forecasting begin once a deal exists, as covered in our guide to revenue intelligence platforms.
Bottom line
Buy visitor identification first: Leadfeeder and RB2B both publish prices and offer a free plan, so you learn how many visitors they can name before spending anything. Add Clay for signals on a list you build, and request third-party quotes only when your own traffic cannot feed the team.
