What Is FlexiQuiz?

FlexiQuiz is the online quiz and assessment platform for educators, trainers, HR teams, and businesses needing to test, certify, or evaluate users. The product handles quizzes, exams, certifications, surveys, and evaluations with auto-grading, certificates, detailed analytics, and integration options for LMS platforms.

The pitch is "create a quiz once, share to anyone, get graded results." FlexiQuiz removes friction from assessment creation while supporting rigorous test mechanics: timed exams, randomized question pools, anti-cheating protections, and credential-grade certificates for those who pass.

The product targets corporate trainers, HR compliance teams, online course creators, schools, and small training organizations. Larger enterprise testing programs typically use specialized tools like ProProfs Training, ExamSoft, or Articulate; FlexiQuiz fits the smaller end of that market.

How FlexiQuiz Works

Build quizzes with 14 question types: multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, matching, sorting, essay, file upload, and more. Mix types within a single quiz. Add images, videos, audio, or formulas to questions for richer assessments.

Configure quiz mechanics: time limits, randomization (shuffle questions or draw from a pool of more questions than the test shows), passing scores, retry rules, and time-of-day restrictions. Lockdown browser features prevent test-takers from copying or referencing external content.

Auto-grading handles objective question types (multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank with predetermined answers). Essay questions require manual grading by the test administrator with feedback comments.

Certificates generate automatically for users who pass. Customize certificate design with logos, signatures, and unique identifiers. Useful for compliance training, professional development, and credentialing programs.

Analytics show individual results, cohort performance, question difficulty (which questions stumped the most users), and time spent. Use the data to identify weak content areas or revise question quality.

Integrations with LMS platforms via SCORM, xAPI, and direct API let FlexiQuiz quizzes feed into broader learning programs. Embed quizzes on websites or share standalone URLs.

Where FlexiQuiz Wins

  • Affordable: cheaper than ProProfs or Classmarker at comparable response volumes.
  • Certificate generation: useful for compliance training and certifications.
  • 14 question types: more variety than basic survey tools.
  • Easy sharing: link, embed, or LMS integration via SCORM.
  • Anti-cheating features: lockdown browser, randomization, time limits.

Where It Falls Short

  • UI is functional but dated: Typeform-style polish missing.
  • Response caps: large-cohort assessments need higher tiers.
  • Limited interactivity: not for sophisticated branching scenarios.
  • Less powerful than ProProfs Training: lacks full LMS features beyond assessment.

FlexiQuiz vs ProProfs vs Classmarker vs Typeform

Data tools, published pricing

ToolPricingModel
Crazy Egg $29/mo (Starter), $99/mo (Plus), $249/mo (Pro), $599/mo (Enterprise) Subscription
SurveyMonkey Free (10 questions), $25/mo (Standard), $75/mo (Premier) Freemium
Carbon6 Amazon seller tools, custom pricing Subscription
Julius AI Free, $20/mo (Pro) Freemium
Emporia Research Market research, custom pricing Subscription

ProProfs is more feature-rich with stronger LMS integration and broader assessment types. More expensive.

Classmarker targets academic testing with stronger proctoring features.

Typeform wins on design but lacks proper quiz mechanics (time limits, lockdown, certificates).

Articulate Rise + Storyline targets enterprise corporate training with full course authoring.

Who Should Use FlexiQuiz

Trainers and small course creators: cheap, reliable assessments without LMS overkill.

HR teams running compliance quizzes: certificates fit the use case.

Educators and instructors: school assessments without enterprise LMS.

Skip it if: you need sophisticated learning paths (use a real LMS like ProProfs Training), require advanced proctoring (use ExamSoft), or build complex interactive courses (use Articulate).

How FlexiQuiz works

FlexiQuiz is a web-based quiz, test and exam builder used for training, assessment, recruitment screening and selling courses. You build quizzes in a browser from 9 question types: single choice, multiple choice, picture choice, matching text, matching images, fill-in-the-blanks, free text, essay and file upload. You can add media pages, video, audio and documents, and the system auto-scores by points.

Setup is where most of the configuration happens. You set points per question or per individual answer option, randomise questions and answer options, set time limits, maximum attempts, pass grades and grade-based redirects, then customise the welcome page, thank-you page, results screen and certificate. Essays can be marked manually, and there is category scoring, a question bank with randomised pull, question import from a spreadsheet, and support for mathematical equations.

Distribution runs through a unique (customisable) URL, email invitation, an access code, a password-protected link, an embed on your own site, or by assigning quizzes to respondent portals, which are persistent logins where learners see the quizzes assigned to them and move through learning paths. On the admin side you get admin and trainer accounts, custom groups, bulk user import from a spreadsheet, and self-registration.

A separate live quiz mode runs Kahoot-style events with leaderboards, speed bonus points, per-question timers and access codes. You can also sell quizzes or course bundles through a Stripe-connected payment page, with coupon codes, custom pricing and welcome emails. Reporting breaks results down by quiz, group, individual, question and time per question, exportable to PDF or spreadsheet.

Integration is Enterprise-tier: REST API and webhooks, Zapier, single sign-on, dynamic URL parameters, custom SMTP so mail sends from your own server, plus custom CSS and white-label emails. There is a free plan (20 responses per month, no card). Paid plans billed yearly are $17/mo Essentials, $25/mo Premium and $60/mo Enterprise, with an Enterprise+ tier quoted by sales.

Where FlexiQuiz wins

  • Pricing is genuinely low for the category. Yearly Enterprise is $60/mo with 25,000 responses, 15 admin and trainer seats, API, SSO and custom CSS included, and unlimited quizzes and questions on every plan.
  • Assessment depth most form builders lack. Manual marking for essays, per-answer-option points, category scoring, a question bank with randomised pull, spreadsheet question import and mathematical equations.
  • Built-in commerce. Sell a single quiz or a bundle (up to 100 on Enterprise) with coupon codes, custom pricing, welcome emails and Stripe payments, and no FlexiQuiz transaction fee.
  • Real LMS-lite behaviour. Respondent portals (100, 800 or 5,000 depending on plan), learning paths, groups, self-registration and bulk account import let you run recurring training without a separate LMS.
  • Live quiz mode is included rather than sold as a separate product, with leaderboards, speed bonuses, per-question timers, access codes and up to 400 players on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • No proctoring. Webcam monitoring and lockdown browser are not advertised anywhere in the feature set, so high-stakes exams need a separate invigilation tool. IP restrictions, the closest control on offer, are Enterprise-only.
  • Everything integration-shaped sits at $60/mo Enterprise: API and webhooks, Zapier, SSO, custom SMTP, dynamic parameters and custom CSS. Premium and below are effectively closed systems, and embedding itself starts at Premium.
  • Branding stays on the cheap plans. Logo upload and removing FlexiQuiz branding are not available on free or Essentials, so your learners see vendor branding on the cheapest paid tier.
  • Billing is metered on monthly responses (500 / 2,000 / 25,000) and storage (2 / 10 / 100 GB). A spiky campaign or a file-upload-heavy assessment pushes you into an upgrade rather than a soft overage.
  • Seat counts are tight below Enterprise: 1 admin on Essentials, 2 on Premium, and credential sharing is explicitly disallowed by their terms.

Who should use FlexiQuiz

FlexiQuiz fits trainers, schools, HR and onboarding teams and course sellers who need scored assessments plus learner portals and certificates without paying LMS prices. It is a strong fit if selling quizzes directly is part of the plan, since the Stripe payment page, bundles and coupons are built in rather than bolted on.

Skip it if you need proctored high-stakes exams, because there is no invigilation layer at all. Skip it too if you need API access or SSO but cannot justify the Enterprise tier, since those sit behind the top published plan and there is no middle path to them.
