Recruiters spend half their day on admin: writing up interview notes, updating the ATS, formatting candidate submittals, logging calls. CoRecruit (formerly Quil) is an AI assistant that automates all of that. It joins your calls invisibly, transcribes and summarizes interviews, auto-updates your ATS, and generates client-ready candidate profiles.
The "invisible" part matters. Unlike Otter.ai or Fireflies, there's no visible bot joining your Zoom call. CoRecruit captures audio directly through the system, so candidates don't see an AI recorder pop up mid-interview. For recruitment agencies where candidate experience matters, that's a significant detail.
Try CoRecruit Get started →What It Automates
Interview capture: Auto-joins calls on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, phone calls, even WhatsApp. Transcribes, summarizes, and extracts key points without a visible bot in the meeting.
ATS updates: After every call, CoRecruit pushes enriched notes, custom field updates, and attachments to your ATS automatically. Native integrations with Bullhorn, Vincere, Crelate, Loxo, and 40+ others.
Candidate submittals: Generates branded, client-ready candidate profiles from interview data. Cuts the time between "great interview" and "sent to client" from hours to minutes.
Free VoIP calling: Unlimited US/Canada calls included. No separate phone system needed.
AI coaching: Post-call insights on recruiter performance. What went well, what didn't, areas to improve.
Pricing
All plans include the same features. Price drops with volume:
- Starter (1+ users): $85/user/month ($64 annual).
- Growth (10+ users): $75/user/month ($54 annual).
- Professional (25+ users): $71/user/month ($50 annual).
- Enterprise (100+): Custom.
At $64/month per recruiter (annual), the ROI math is simple: if it saves 8+ hours per week per recruiter (their claim), it pays for itself in the first week of each month.

- No visible bot: Candidates don't see an AI recorder, preserving the interview dynamic
- Deep ATS integration: 40+ native integrations. Updates happen automatically, not through manual copy-paste.
- Works across platforms: Zoom, Teams, Meet, phone, WhatsApp. Desktop app, mobile app, Chrome extension.
- Trusted by 1,000s of agencies: Established user base for a recruitment-specific tool.
Limitations
- Recruitment agencies only: Designed for staffing firms, not in-house HR teams (though it could work for both)
- Cost per seat adds up: A 20-recruiter agency pays $1,280-1,700/month. That's real budget.
- Recent rebrand: From Quil to CoRecruit. Some market confusion during transition.
Worth It?
For recruitment agencies where every recruiter spends 10+ hours per week on admin (notes, ATS updates, candidate write-ups), CoRecruit automates the most tedious parts of the job. The invisible meeting capture is a genuine competitive advantage over tools that announce themselves in every call.
Start Using CoRecruit Get started →How CoRecruit works
CoRecruit (formerly Quil, founded in 2023 in Canada) is an AI recruiting assistant built specifically for third-party recruiting firms: staffing agencies, boutique search, and executive search, rather than in-house HR teams. It records and transcribes recruiter calls, turns those notes into client-ready candidate submittals, and pushes structured data back into your ATS. It also ships its own VoIP dialer, with unlimited US/Canada calling included in every plan. The vendor is explicit that it is not an ATS replacement and not a generic meeting notetaker.
Setup starts with the client you prefer: the desktop app (Windows x64, macOS ARM64), the mobile app (iOS/Android), or the Chrome extension. You connect your calendar so interviews are detected and recording auto-starts without manual triggering. The desktop app does botless recording, meaning no visible AI participant joins the call, which is why it also captures cell phone and WhatsApp conversations rather than only Zoom, Teams and Google Meet. In-person meetings can be captured too.
After a call, the AI generates a summary and emails action items, then formats a submittal using your own templates and firm branding. ATS sync pushes structured notes and submittals through native integrations for Bullhorn, Vincere, Crelate, Loxo and 40+ other systems, with custom field mapping so the data lands where your workflow expects it. The configuration work is mostly three things: connecting the calendar, mapping ATS fields, and building write-up templates that match each client's preferences.
Where CoRecruit wins
- Agency-native, not HR-native. Submittal generation, client-ready write-ups and fee-for-placement workflows are the core rather than bolt-ons, which is the real gap versus Otter.ai, Fireflies or Metaview.
- Botless capture is the standout technical choice. Because nothing joins the meeting, it covers cell phone calls, WhatsApp and in-person conversations that bot-based notetakers structurally cannot record.
- Deep ATS coverage for the staffing market. Native mapping for Bullhorn, Vincere, Crelate and Loxo plus 40+ others, with custom field mapping instead of a generic webhook dump.
- Bundled VoIP with unlimited US/Canada calling in every tier, including the $64/user entry plan, which removes a separate dialer subscription for high-volume outbound desks.
- Feature parity across tiers. The vendor states all standard features are included at every level, so Starter buyers are not locked out of ATS sync or custom templates.
Where it falls short
- Every plan carries a 12-month minimum term, and the cheapest rates require paying the full year upfront. The 7-day free trial is the only no-commitment path, and there is no free tier.
- Month-to-month billing costs meaningfully more. Starter is $85/user/month on an annual term billed monthly versus $64 paid upfront, roughly a third more for the flexibility.
- Tier discounts need scale. $54/user requires 10+ users, $50 requires 25+, and Enterprise pricing starts at 100+ users, so a three-person boutique pays the top rate.
- Unlimited calling is US/Canada only. There is no stated inclusive calling for the UK, EU or APAC, which limits it for firms recruiting internationally.
- No supported-language list, and no published security posture. No SOC 2 status, certifications or data-residency detail on the marketing site, only a general "trust is sacred" statement, which is a gap for firms handling EU candidate data.
- Platform coverage has edges. macOS desktop is listed for ARM64 only (3.28.0+), so Intel Mac support is unconfirmed, and the browser extension is Chrome-based with no stated Firefox or Safari support.
Who should use CoRecruit
The clearest fit is North American staffing and boutique search firms running heavy phone-based outbound, where the bottleneck is turning call notes into polished client submittals. The vendor claims that drops from 20-30+ minutes per candidate to under 10. It is especially strong if you already run Bullhorn, Vincere, Crelate or Loxo and want an included dialer alongside it.
Skip it if you are an in-house TA team (the vendor says so itself), if you need an ATS rather than a layer on top of one, if you recruit primarily outside the US and Canada, or if procurement requires a published security posture and month-to-month terms.
