Advertising to CFOs and Finance Teams
To reach CFOs and finance teams, define the finance task your offer serves and check the evidence for each proposed placement. Dupple offers sponsorships in Finpresso, a finance and fintech newsletter. Its quiz includes Finance & Accounting respondents, but it does not establish how many CFOs a particular issue reaches.
Published and updated 5 November 2026.
Dupple publishes Techpresso, AIpresso, Devshot, Cyberpresso, Finpresso and MarketingShot, and sells sponsorships in them. Dupple publishes this page and owns Finpresso.
What the finance role data measures
Our data, verified November 2026: Across industries, 4,856 respondents selected Finance & Accounting in Dupple's voluntary post-signup quiz between 5 August and 3 November 2026. Of those respondents, 27.6% identified themselves as decision makers. The audience segment CSV contains the result; the data page explains how it was collected.
Finance & Accounting is a broad role group, not a count of CFOs. Participants chose whether to complete the quiz and reported their own role and decision-making status. The result does not describe all subscribers, prove purchasing authority or guarantee who receives or sees a particular sponsorship. Dupple's quiz and platform figures are not independently audited. Ask which newsletter, date and placement are available and what evidence applies to that booking.
Compare finance advertising options
The following examples are not a ranking. Dupple's Finpresso page, advertising page and audience data, Paved's advertiser page and The Hustle home page were checked on 5 November 2026. These options have different editorial contexts and buying models.
| Option | What the cited source describes | What to ask before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Finpresso | Dupple describes a finance and fintech newsletter. | Which issue and format are available, and what audience evidence applies? |
| Paved | A marketplace for newsletter advertising. | Which available publications cover the finance task and how was each audience measured? |
| The Hustle | A daily business-news newsletter. | Is the desired sponsorship currently available, and what audience and reporting details apply? |
The Hustle's /advertise URL returned a not-found response when checked on 5 November 2026, and we did not locate another current official sponsor page in that check. This does not establish that sponsorship is unavailable. Contact the publisher or HubSpot for current information. A marketplace's inventory is not one audience; obtain the details of the particular publication being proposed.
Define the finance responsibility
A CFO may oversee financial planning, reporting, capital allocation or a wider operating team. An accountant, controller, analyst or finance operations specialist may use or recommend a product while a different person approves its purchase. Define the practical task and purchasing process that matter for the offer instead of assuming that one title describes the whole team.
For a reporting product, explain the source data, workflow and output a reader would evaluate. For an expense or payments tool, describe which part of the process it supports and which business conditions apply. If the offer relates to a regulated activity, confirm that the message and destination are appropriate for the intended markets and that relevant qualifications are clear.
Separate the person who uses the product from the person who makes the purchase decision. A campaign can be designed to educate a practitioner, invite a finance leader to a discussion or support another defined action. Those objectives need different creative and follow-up. A self-reported quiz role is useful context, but it cannot identify the individual readers who will engage with the ad.
Select a placement and schedule
Dupple describes an in-issue Primary Ad and a separate dedicated send. Ask about the publication, issue or send date, creative space and approval process. The Primary Ad guide and dedicated-send guide explain how those formats differ. Availability should be confirmed for the actual campaign.
Review a recent issue to understand the editorial context. A finance newsletter may be relevant to a finance product, but its subject matter alone does not establish the job or authority of each reader. Ask about the evidence supporting any claimed audience breakdown, its date and how it was collected. If the desired segment cannot be purchased separately, plan the creative for the wider readership that can receive the issue.
When considering other publishers or a marketplace, request the specific newsletter and placement rather than comparing network-wide claims with one issue. The newsletter buying guide lists practical questions about formats, reporting and delivery. Keep the agreed date, copy and destination in a shared brief so the finance, marketing and approval teams are working from the same version.
Prepare a clear and supportable offer
A useful finance-facing ad should identify the task, the intended reader and the next action. A guide may help someone understand a process; a demonstration may be appropriate when a product's workflow is easier to show than describe. State what happens after the click and whether the reader will encounter a form or need to schedule a conversation.
Support claims with evidence appropriate to the offer. If a result comes from a particular customer, period or configuration, explain that context and confirm that the result can be shared. Avoid presenting a single example as a guaranteed outcome. A landing page should describe relevant limitations, prerequisites and the way the product fits into the reader's existing work.
Request an ad preview and confirm that the sponsorship is recognizable. The US Federal Trade Commission's native advertising guide, checked 5 November 2026, discusses disclosure when paid material resembles editorial content. Applicable requirements depend on the placement and jurisdiction. Check the preview on mobile and confirm who has authority to approve the final copy.
Ask for comparable evidence
For each proposal, request the unit behind every audience number. Subscribers, survey respondents, reported opens and ad impressions are different populations or events. Ask for the measurement date, sample size, question and collection method when a provider offers a role breakdown. If the sample is voluntary, it can describe respondents without proving that nonrespondents have the same characteristics.
Ask whether the data covers the proposed newsletter or a wider network. A publisher's overall audience claim should not be silently converted into a count of CFOs, accountants or decision makers in a particular issue. Publisher figures are self-reported unless an independent audit is identified. When a number is unavailable, leave it open and evaluate the other information in the proposal.
Request an example report and agree on how changes or delays will be handled. For an event campaign, check whether the issue date gives readers time to register. For an ongoing product, consider how the destination will be maintained and who will respond to inquiries after publication. Keep the approved creative and tracking parameters with the booking details.
Measure the outcome the team needs
A visit to a guide, an event registration and a qualified sales conversation are distinct events. Define the action and the qualification rules before launch. Test the link and any form on mobile and desktop, and make sure submissions reach the person responsible for follow-up. Review the result after a defined period rather than treating every click as a customer.
Dupple says its campaign reports include opens, clicks, click-through rate, benchmarks and corporate domains that engaged. Ask for the definitions that apply to the proposed format. Reported opens do not prove an ad was seen: Apple's Mail privacy guidance, checked 5 November 2026, describes background downloading of remote content under privacy settings. The CPM guide explains the distinction.
Compare the report with your own analytics while allowing for differences in consent, redirects and filtering. The sponsorship ROI guide describes how to connect activity with a business objective. One placement is a limited observation, especially when the offer, timing or creative differs from another campaign. Preserve those differences when reviewing the outcome.
What we could not verify
The quiz does not establish the number of CFOs in a booked issue or the purchasing authority of its recipients. Dupple's quiz and platform figures are not independently audited; other publishers' figures are self-reported unless an audit is identified. We cannot verify audience overlap, current The Hustle sponsorship terms or the result of a future campaign. Open rates are not directly comparable across platforms without knowing their definitions and filtering.
FAQ
Does Dupple have finance professionals in its quiz data?
Yes. The voluntary quiz includes 4,856 respondents across industries who selected Finance & Accounting during the stated window. It does not describe every subscriber or a guaranteed issue audience.
Does that figure count CFOs?
No. Finance & Accounting is a broader role category, and the source does not establish a separate CFO count.
Which Dupple newsletter covers finance?
Dupple describes Finpresso as a finance and fintech newsletter. Ask which issue and sponsorship format are available for the campaign.
Does a self-reported decision maker have authority to buy my product?
Not necessarily. Approval processes differ across organizations; define and assess your own qualification criteria.
What should I compare between proposals?
Compare the specific placement, editorial context, audience definition, creative requirements, date and reporting, then measure the qualified outcome you defined in advance.
