Updated November 6, 2026: the nine picks' prices re-checked on each vendor's US store; the models below the list were read November 4, 2026. Compared from vendor specs and pricing pages, not tested hands-on.

Nine gaming keyboards make the list as of November 2026. The ROG Azoth 96 HE scores 9 of 9 at $359.99. The other eight score 8 and are ordered by price, from the CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 at $89.99 (sale) to the ROG Falchion Ace HFX at $199.99. Each has a Hall effect, magnetic or analog switch with an adjustable actuation range in millimetres and a stated 8,000 Hz polling rate.

Dupple data: 102 keyboard models scored on their vendors' stated figures, from pages read on November 4 and 6, 2026. Nine make the list.

How we chose

We compared keyboards on figures each vendor prints on its own US store or product page, read on November 4, 2026, with the nine picks' prices re-read on November 6, 2026. We did not test any of them; prices are those each page showed, checked against a cart where the store allowed it.

How the order is set

A keyboard must pass two gates first. Gate 1, scope: the brand's own gaming category or the product page calls the model a gaming keyboard. Gate 2, sale and stock: the page shows a US price read today, a buy control or an "In Stock" line, and it names its switch technology. Sold-out and pre-order models fail gate 2.

Models that pass get a score out of 9 from four items:

  • Switch, 0 to 3: 3 for a Hall effect, magnetic or analog switch with an adjustable actuation range stated in millimetres. 2 for a Hall, magnetic or optical switch with no stated range, or a fixed optical switch. A range counts only when the visible product page prints it, not when it sits only in the page code. 1 for a mechanical switch with fixed actuation. 0 for a membrane or rubber dome.
  • Polling rate, 0 to 3: 3 for 8,000 Hz or 8 kHz stated for a connection the page names. 2 for 4,000 to 7,999 Hz. 1 for 1,000 Hz. 0 when no rate is stated, or when a rate is stated without naming its connection. A booster sold separately does not count.
  • Connection, 1 to 2: 1 for a wired model, or a wireless one with no polling figure for the wireless link. 2 for a wireless model whose page states a polling rate for the wireless link.
  • Software, 0 or 1: 1 when the page names a configuration app (Synapse, iCUE, G HUB, Gear Link, Armoury Crate, Wootility, Keychron or Lemokey Launcher, CORSAIR Web Hub, NGENUITY, GG). 0 when it names none.

The order is set by score, then by price, lowest first. A tie on score and price goes to the wider stated actuation range, then to the brand name in alphabetical order. At most two numbered picks per brand, and Lemokey, Keychron's gaming brand, counts as Keychron; the model's other sizes are named in its card, and a brand's other models that pass are listed below the ranking with their score and price. The list holds nine picks at most, so a model that would be the tenth is listed below. A sale ending before November 7, 2026 ranks on its struck price; the Corsair pages print no sale end date, so their sale prices rank.

The one model at 9 leads: its 9 needs a stated 2.4 GHz polling rate, which no other pick has. Layout is not scored.

Polling is a score item, not a gate: a polling gate would have removed SteelSeries' Apex Pro Gen 3, which states no polling rate.

1. ROG Azoth 96 HE: the only 9, at $359.99

Best for: a 96% board with Hall effect switches that a player can use wired or over 2.4 GHz at 8,000 Hz.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $359.99 on ASUS's US store, "In Stock" with a "BUY NOW" button. The ROG Azoth 96 HE Lite, also $359.99, has the same figures and is the same pick.

What the vendor states: "ROG HFX V2 Magnetic Switch", an "Adjustable Actuation" of "0.1 to 3.5 mm" for the HFX V2 switch (the page's dash removed), "USB Report rate (USB Report rate) 8000 Hz", "RF 2.4G Report rate 8000 Hz", and "Software Gear Link".

Image: ASUS, the ROG Azoth 96 HE in white and in black

The catch: it costs $160 more than the next most expensive pick, and its lead rests on one stated figure: the 2.4 GHz polling rate.

Verdict: first on score, on the figures the page states.

2. CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60: the lowest price of the nine, at $89.99

Best for: a 60% wired board with Hall effect switches and 8,000 Hz polling, at the lowest price of the nine picks.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $89.99 on Corsair's US page, shown as a sale against an original price of $99.99, "In Stock" in Black and White. The page prints no sale end date, so the sale price ranks.

What the vendor states: "MGX Hyperdrive Core magnetic hall effect switches" with adjustable actuation of 0.2 to 3.8 mm (the page's dash removed), "up to 8,000Hz (8K) USB polling rate", wired connectivity over a detachable USB-C to USB-A cable, and settings "directly on your browser via CORSAIR Web Hub".

Get the CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 on Corsair's US store →

CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 keyboard in black with grey keys and RGB lighting, product photo from Corsair.
Image: Corsair

The catch: its range starts at 0.2 mm, not the 0.1 mm of the other eight picks, and the 60% layout has no arrow keys or function row; Corsair's Smart Tap puts the arrows on a tap layer. Settings live in a browser app, CORSAIR Web Hub, not in iCUE.

Verdict: the lowest-priced pick, on a sale with no printed end date.

3. CORSAIR K70 PRO TKL: a tenkeyless board at $99.99

Best for: a tenkeyless board with Hall effect switches and a stated 8,000 Hz polling rate, at $10 more than the CLIPPER PRO MINI 60.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $99.99 on Corsair's US page, shown as a sale against an original price of $169.99. The page prints no sale end date; its structured data gave November 18 on November 4 and November 20 on November 6, so the sale price ranks.

What the vendor states: MGX Hall effect switches that set "each key's actuation distance from a super-sensitive 0.1mm to a deep 4mm, in 0.1mm steps". The page gives "Keyboard Report Rate Up to 8,000Hz", wired connectivity, a detachable magnetic wrist rest and "iCUE Enabled".

Get the K70 PRO TKL on Corsair's US store →

Image: Corsair

The catch: the same page says "For optimal accuracy, the recommended range is 0.3mm to 3.6mm". The full 0.1 to 4 mm range is what the page states and what we scored, but Corsair recommends a narrower band for accuracy. The price is a sale, and the page prints no end date. The board has no wireless version.

Verdict: the lowest-priced tenkeyless pick, with the accuracy note above in mind.

4. Razer Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz: from $119.99 in a 65% size

Best for: a compact 65% board with Hall effect switches and Razer's Synapse software.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $119.99 for the 65% size on Razer's US store, with an "Add to cart" button. The tenkeyless size of the same model is $139.99 on the same product family page. No sale or struck price is shown.

What the vendor states: "Razer™ Hall Effect Magnetic Switches", a "0.1 to 4.0 mm Adjustable Actuation" range (the page's dash removed), "Up to 8000 Hz Polling Rate", "Razer™ Synapse enabled", and a "Detachable Type C Cable" for wired use. The specification list also names Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap.

Get the Huntsman V3 HE 65% on Razer's US store →

Razer Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 65% keyboard, product photo from Razer, black with RGB lighting.
Image: Razer

The catch: the 65% layout has no function row, and the 8,000 Hz figure is an "up to" figure. The page lists the connection as wired, so the wired figure is the one we score.

Verdict: the lower-priced of Razer's two picks, in its smaller layout.

5. Logitech G512 X 75 TMR: the only TMR board, at $159.99

Best for: a 75% board with analog TMR switches and mechanical switch beds, for a player who wants to choose the switch per key.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $159.99 on Logitech's US store, shown with "Add to cart" against a struck $179.99 ($20 off). The page prints no end date, so the sale price ranks. Its G512 X 98 size is $179.99, the same pick.

What the vendor states: "Define the perfect actuation point for each analog switch, adjusting the distance from 0.0039 in (0.1mm) to 0.15 in (4.0mm)" (the page's own conversion), "Sensor Technology: 8 kHz or 1 kHz Report Rate", "USB-C to USB-A" and G HUB for settings.

Image: Logitech G

The catch: the page offers 8 kHz or 1 kHz, and the 8 kHz rate is one of two options. The palm rest is sold separately.

Verdict: fifth in the list, tied on price with the Lemokey L0 HE and ahead of it on range.

6. Lemokey L0 HE: one-handed, from $159.99

Best for: one-handed play, for a player who can keep one hand on the keys or needs the other hand free.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $159.99 on Keychron's store, where the Lemokey line is sold. The Cyber colourway is in stock. No struck price is shown.

What the vendor states: "a wired one-handed design magnetic switch custom gaming keyboard", "Connectivity: wired; 8000 Hz polling rate", "adjustable actuation 0.1 to 3.35 mm" (the page's tilde replaced), a "Lemokey Ultra-fast Lime Magnetic Switch", and "Lemokey Launcher web app for key remapping and macros". The page lists a weight of 590 g plus or minus 50 g.

Get the Lemokey L0 HE on Keychron's store →

Lemokey L0 HE one-handed magnetic gaming keyboard in black with green accents and a side knob, product photo from Keychron.
Image: Keychron

The catch: the layout is one-handed, so it is a poor choice for a player who types with both hands. The stated range stops at 3.35 mm, below the 4.0 mm of most other picks.

Verdict: the niche pick in the list, for one-handed use.

7. Razer Huntsman V3 TKL 8KHz: a tenkeyless board from $169.99

Best for: a tenkeyless board with optical analog switches and Synapse, at a lower price than the Huntsman V3 Pro.

Price (read November 6, 2026): "Starting from US$169.99" on Razer's product page, with the buy control shown. This is the one tenkeyless size of this model we read. No sale or struck price is shown.

What the vendor states: "Analog Optical" switches, "0.1 to 4.0 mm Adjustable Actuation" (the page's dash removed), "Up to 8000 Hz Polling Rate", "Razer™ Synapse enabled" and "Detachable Type C Cable".

Get the Huntsman V3 TKL 8KHz on Razer's US store →

Image: Razer

The catch: the switches are analog optical, not the Hall effect switches of the HE model above. The 8,000 Hz figure is "up to", and the board is wired only. The Huntsman V3 Pro 8KHz is in the box below the list at $179.99 and up, because Razer's cap allows two picks.

Verdict: the second Razer pick, at $169.99.

8. Wooting 60HE v2: a 60% board with Wootility

Best for: a 60% wired board with Hall effect switches and Wootility, for players who want True 8 kHz polling in a smaller layout.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $179.99 for the ABS ANSI variant on Wooting's US store. The Aluminium variant is $239.99.

What the vendor states: "Analog Hall Effect", "4.0 mm in precise 0.1 mm increments" (the page's range), "True 8kHz polling", and Wootility, the configuration app.

Get the 60HE v2 on Wooting's US store →

The catch: it is wired only.

Verdict: eighth in the list; the CORSAIR VANGUARD PRO 96, at the same price, sits below the list under the Corsair cap.

9. ROG Falchion Ace HFX: a 65% board from $199.99

Best for: a 65% board with HFX magnetic switches and a Rapid Trigger toggle, bought from ASUS's US store.

Price (read November 6, 2026): $199.99 on ASUS's US store, with a "BUY NOW" button. No sale or struck price is shown. The ZywOo Edition, at the same price, is the same pick.

What the vendor states: "ROG HFX Magnetic Switch", a "customizable 0.1 - 4.0mm actuation range" (the page's dash removed), "8000 Hz polling rate", "USB 2.0 (TypeC to TypeA)" and "Armoury Crate" as its software.

Get the Falchion Ace HFX on ASUS's US store →

The catch: it is wired only, and its 65% layout drops the function row and the navigation cluster.

Verdict: ninth in the list. It ties on price with the Wooting 80HE+ and the Keychron Q16 HE, which are not numbered; the wider range and the brand tie-break put it first.

None of the nine picks needs a subscription on the vendor pages we read. Each works with the configuration app its page names; we did not read those apps' terms.

The two Corsair picks are on sale, and their pages print no end date; when the sales end, the original prices apply: $99.99 for the CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 and $169.99 for the K70 PRO TKL.

How to choose

  • Wireless at 8,000 Hz on the 2.4 GHz link: ROG Azoth 96 HE (the Lite is the same pick).
  • Lowest price with a Hall effect switch and 8,000 Hz polling: CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 (60%), then the CORSAIR K70 PRO TKL (tenkeyless) and the Razer Huntsman V3 HE in its 65% size.

FAQ

Is a Hall effect keyboard better than a mechanical one?

On the figures the vendors state, a Hall effect or analog switch with a stated millimetre range scores 3 on switch technology, and a fixed mechanical switch scores 1. A mechanical model in the box reaches 7 at most.

Do I need 8,000 Hz polling?

Ordinary keyboards state 1,000 Hz, which scores 1 point against 3 for 8,000 Hz. The score measures what the page says.

Why does the Azoth 96 HE lead at $359.99?

It is the only numbered pick whose page states a polling rate for its 2.4 GHz link, and that is the one point that separates it from the eights. The price does not change the score.

Should a gaming keyboard be wired or wireless?

Eight of the nine numbered picks are wired only. The ROG Azoth 96 HE is the one wireless pick, and its page states 8,000 Hz for both USB and its 2.4 GHz link, which is why it scores 9. The Keychron K-series boards in the box add wireless at 1,000 Hz and score 7.

Which picks let you set the actuation point?

All nine state an adjustable range in millimetres: 0.1 to 4.0 mm on six of them, 0.1 to 3.5 mm on the ROG Azoth 96 HE, 0.1 to 3.35 mm on the Lemokey L0 HE and 0.2 to 3.8 mm on the CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60. The Huntsman V3 TKL uses analog optical switches and the G512 X 75 uses TMR; the others are Hall effect or magnetic.

Why is Logitech G one pick?

Most Logitech G pages state no polling rate. Only the G512 X 75 TMR and the PRO X2 RAPID state a range and an 8 kHz rate, and the nine-pick limit holds the PRO X2 in the box.

The ROG Azoth 96 HE is the only 9. The CORSAIR CLIPPER PRO MINI 60 is the lowest-priced pick, at $89.99 on a sale with no printed end date.
