Updated November 4, 2026: prices re-checked on each vendor's US store or product page. Compared from vendor specs and store pages, not tested hands-on.
Levoit Core 300-P ($84.99 sale price), Winix C535 ($154.99) and Levoit Core 600S-P ($269.99 sale price) rank first to third of nine air purifiers for pet hair as of November 2026. The order divides each vendor's CADR by its US store price, among models whose own pages name a HEPA filter, a pet or odor filter or claim, a CADR and a replacement interval, with at most two picks per brand. AirDoctor's 5500 takes ninth place; the other passing models sit in a box below the list.
Dupple data: computed from vendor prices on November 4, 2026, the 12-month cost (device plus replacement filters) of the nine picks runs from $144.97 to $1,394.00, and the 24-month cost from $204.95 to $1,789.00.

The nine, in ranking order
1. Levoit Core 300-P: best for a room with pets, if an unlabelled CFM figure and a sale price are acceptable

$84.99 sale price on Levoit's US store, white finish, read November 4, 2026. The page prints $99.99 struck through beside "15% off" with no label, so we rank on the sale price. No end date is printed. The black finish lists at $104.99.
The page prints "CADR: 143 CFM" with no label and rates a 1,066 sq ft room at one air change per hour. Its Original Filter costs $29.99 and is replaced every 6 to 8 months. We use 6 months, $59.98 a year.
Pros: the highest CADR per dollar of the nine on the figure as printed, and the lowest device price of the nine.
Cons: the figure is unlabelled, the sale has no end date, and the product page does not use the word HEPA. Its filter page calls the filter HEPA-grade in Sleep Mode.
Best for: one room with pets, up to about 1,066 sq ft.
2. Winix C535: best for a medium room with a pet, with a smoke figure printed

$154.99 on Winix's US store, in stock, read November 4, 2026. The page prints no struck or regular price.
The page prints smoke CADR 232 with no unit, for an AHAM Verified room of 370 sq ft. Its Filter A is a one-year set at $84.99.
Pros: a True HEPA filter, a carbon filter the page says reduces odors from cooking, pets and smoke, and the second-highest CADR per dollar of the nine.
Cons: the smoke figure has no unit printed, and the yearly cost rests on the set's four carbon filters.
Best for: a medium room with one pet.
Winix's C535 page. Filter: Filter A set.
3. Levoit Core 600S-P: best for one large room, if an unlabelled CFM figure is enough

$269.99 sale price on Levoit's US store, read November 4, 2026. The page prints $299.99 struck through beside "10% off" with no label, so we rank on the sale price. The page prints one CFM figure, 391, with no label, and rates a 2,909 sq ft room at one air change per hour.
Its filter page says the filter "lasts 6 to 12 months" at $69.99. We use 6 months, a yearly cost of $139.98. The Original Replacement Filter at $59.99 prints no interval, so it is not used.
Pros: the third-highest CADR per dollar of the nine on the figure as printed.
Cons: the figure is unlabelled, and the filter is called "HEPA-grade" rather than True HEPA.
Best for: one large room, if a single unlabelled CFM figure is enough.
4. Blue Pure 211i Max: best for one large open room with pets

$349.99 on Blueair's US store, read November 4, 2026. The page says the unit is "Great for Allergens, pets, smoke." It prints smoke, dust and pollen CADR of 435, 452 and 450 cfm, and says it cleans 3,235 sq ft in one hour.
Pros: the highest smoke CADR of Blueair's two picks. The Blue Signature Large, at 455 cfm, sits in the box.
Cons: the AllergenBlock filter is $89.99, the dearest Blueair filter picked, and its "up to 9 months" is Blueair's own estimate. Its page prints "Save 20% - Auto applied in cart" with no end date, which this ranking does not count. A Blueair cart read by Dupple on November 4, 2026 showed $280.00.
Best for: one large open-plan room where pets and smoke are the concern.

5. Blue Pure 311i Max: best for a medium room or bedroom with pets

$229.99 on Blueair's US store, read November 4, 2026. The page says it is "Great for Allergens, pets, smoke." It prints smoke, dust and pollen CADR of 283, 314 and 365 cfm, and says it cleans 2,107 sq ft in one hour.
Pros: an AllergenBlock filter at $64.99, $25 under the 211i Max's, and a device price $120 lower.
Cons: its smoke figure is 152 cfm below the 211i Max. Its page prints "Save 20% - Auto applied in cart" with no end date, which this ranking does not count; a Blueair cart read by Dupple on November 4, 2026 showed $184.00.
Best for: a bedroom or medium room with pets.

6. Winix A231: best for a small room with one pet, on a budget

The page prints smoke CADR 147 with no unit, for an AHAM Verified room of 246 sq ft. Its Filter O set is $54.99 a year.
Pros: a True HEPA filter, a carbon filter the page says reduces odors from cooking, pets and smoke, and the second-lowest yearly filter cost of the nine.
Cons: its smoke figure of 147 is the second-lowest of the nine picks, and its AHAM room is 246 sq ft, so it suits a small room.
Best for: a small room with one pet.
Winix's A231 page. Filter: Filter O set.
7. Coway Airmega Halo: best for a room with a pet, where the lowest filter cost counts

$229.99 regular price on Coway's US store, read November 4, 2026. The page labels $229.99 as the regular price.
The page prints smoke CADR 253.3 with no unit, and rates 1,898 sq ft at one air change per hour. Its 3-in-1 filter has a printed life of 1 year.
Pros: the lowest yearly filter cost of the nine at $49.99, with a one-year life printed.
Cons: the CADR figure has no unit printed, and the HEPA filter is part of a 3-in-1 filter rather than a separate cartridge.
Best for: a room with one pet, where the running cost matters most.
Coway's Airmega Halo page. Filter: Fresh Starter.
8. Coway Airmega 200M: best for a bedroom with one pet, on one filter set a year

$229.99 regular price on Coway's US store, read November 4, 2026. The page labels $229.99 as the regular price.
The page prints "CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate): 246 (Smoke), 249 (Dust), 277 (Pollen)" with no unit, and rates 1,748 sq ft at one air change per hour. The page gives the deodorization filter 6 months and the HEPA filter 12 months, so we count one $64.99 set a year.
Pros: a HEPA filter and a deodorization filter in one set at $64.99 a year.
Cons: the CADR figure has no unit printed, and the set is sold as a bundle, so the price covers one HEPA and two deodorization filters.
Best for: a bedroom or medium room with one pet.

9. AirDoctor 5500: best for one very large room with a pet, where a $999 price is acceptable

$999 regular price on AirDoctor's US store (Classic variant), read November 4, 2026. Once scripts run, the page shows a Black Friday $649 beside $999.00 struck, with no end date, but a Dupple cart read the same day charged $999.00 with no discount, so the rank uses $999.00. The Smart variant ($1,049) is not used.
The page prints "CADR (smoke): 556 CFM" with its unit, and rates 1,043 sq ft at four air changes per hour. Filters: UltraHEPA at $133.00 for two, every 12 months; Carbon/VOC at $131.00 for two, every 6 months. The unit holds two of each, so a year is $395.00.
Pros: the highest smoke CADR of the nine, with its unit printed, and a pre-filter that the page says catches pet hair.
Cons: the lowest CADR per dollar of the nine (0.5566), the highest device price and yearly filter cost on the list, and a carbon filter every six months.
Best for: one very large room with a pet, where the price matters less.

Levoit vs Winix vs Blueair vs Coway vs AirDoctor: what the top picks print
Each brand's highest-ranked pick, as each vendor prints it. Levoit prints one unlabelled CFM figure, Winix and Coway smoke figures with no unit, Blueair and AirDoctor cfm figures.
| Brand and model | Store price (Nov 4, 2026) | CADR as printed | Room size as printed | Filter and interval as printed |

Cost of ownership at 12 and 24 months
Yearly filter cost is the filter price times 12, divided by the vendor's interval in months, shorter end of any range. Levoit Core 600S-P: $69.99 × 12 ÷ 6 = $139.98 a year. The AirDoctor 5500 holds two filters of each kind, so a year takes one UltraHEPA two-pack ($133.00) and two Carbon/VOC two-packs ($131.00 each), $395.00; AirDoctor's one-year pack ($354.99) is not used.

FAQ
Which air purifier is best for pet hair?
The ranking is not a pet hair test. It divides CADR by store price. The Levoit Core 300-P ranks first on a sale price and an unlabelled CFM figure; the Blue Pure 211i Max ranks fourth.
Does an air purifier help with pet dander?
Vendors make their own claims: Levoit's Core 300-P page says its filtration "traps particles such as fine dust, smoke particles, pollen, and pet dander." We could not check a dander test, so treat it as a claim.
Will a purifier remove a cat litter smell?
No page here names cat litter. Carbon handles odor: the Core 300-P's product page says its activated carbon filter helps remove "household odors such as cooking smells and pet odors."
How often do the filters need changing?
Levoit's Core 300-P filter page says 6 to 8 months, and its Core 600S-P filter page says 6 to 12 months. This page uses 6 in each case. Winix's True HEPA filters are rated 12 months, and Filter A is sold as a one-year set. AirDoctor's 5500 page says carbon every 6 months and UltraHEPA every 12 months.
Does Blueair's 20% cart discount change the order?
No. The "Save 20% - Auto applied in cart" line is undated and cart-only, so it is not counted. Counted, the 211i Max would rank second (1.5536 CADR per dollar) and the 311i Max third (1.5380).
Why does the list stop at nine?
Two picks per brand. Levoit, Winix, Blueair and Coway each hold two places, so the ninth went to AirDoctor's 5500, the best passing model from a brand with none left. Mila's Air Mini and Air 3 show "Preorder" lines above the product title, so the store does not show them as in stock.
Methodology
We read the US stores of Levoit, Winix, Coway, Blueair, Mila, AirDoctor and Dreame on November 4, 2026, and swept each brand's current US purifier lineup. Every number comes from a vendor's own US pages, never Amazon, review sites or memory.
The rule has five tests and one sort. The model must be in stock on its brand's US store. Its product or replacement-filter page must name a HEPA filter (HEPASilent, UltraHEPA, "HEPA-grade" and True HEPA count) and name a pet or odor filter or claim pet or odor use. The page must print a CADR, used as printed, and a replacement interval (the shorter end of a range). Passing models are ranked by CADR divided by the US store price, highest first. That price is the higher of the price the product page shows and the price the cart charges for the device alone without a code, so a price the checkout does not honor is not used and an automatic cart discount such as Blueair's "Save 20%" is named but not ranked on. Where a sale has no labelled regular price (the Core 300-P, Core 200S-P, Core 600S-P and Vital 100S-P), we rank on the price shown and call it a sale; none of these sales prints an end date. AirDoctor's pages show Black Friday prices that its cart did not charge on November 4, 2026, so every AirDoctor model ranks on its cart price, which is also its labelled regular price.
How the order is set: at most two numbered picks per brand; a brand's other models that pass are listed below the ranking with their score and price. The ninth place goes to the best passing model from a brand with no pick yet, AirDoctor's 5500 (0.5566).
Blueair's pages cite "new DOE standards" for CADR, an energy rule, not a CADR test.
Out on the tests, among others: Levoit Core 400S-P and the Levoit models below the cut (no interval printed), Blueair's ComfortPure T20i and T10i (no pet or odor claim), Winix's 9800 (no CADR), Coway's Airmega 400S (no pet or odor filter), and Dreame's TP5 and PM Neo (no HEPA word and no interval).
Re-read on November 4, 2026: Blueair's DustMagnet 5440i ($319.99, 216 cfm smoke) and Mini Restful ($149.99, 90 cfm smoke) pass the five tests and sit in the box. Not re-tested: Coway's Airmega 250 Art, and Blueair's Classic Pro CP9i, whose page did not load.
Mila fails test 1. The visible line above each product title on buy.milacares.com reads "Preorder for April delivery" (Air Mini) and "Preorder for October delivery" (Air 3), read November 4, 2026, so neither is shown as in stock. Both print CADR in m³/h (447 and 460), not CFM.
