What Zernio Actually Is

Zernio is a developer-first REST API and hosted MCP server that lets applications and AI agents publish, schedule, message, and measure content across sixteen social platforms and seven ad networks through a single set of credentials. Instead of integrating each network's own API, its own authentication flow, and its own quirks, you make one request shape and Zernio handles the fan-out to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and the rest.

The pitch is narrow and honest. This is infrastructure, not a dashboard. There is no drag-and-drop calendar or content studio to log into, and no marketer-facing workspace at all. You wire Zernio into your own product, script, or agent, and the platform becomes the plumbing that carries posts out and analytics back. That focus is what separates it from the scheduling apps most social teams already know, and it is the reason the product reads as a set of endpoints rather than a set of screens.

One Request Shape, Every Network, Plus an MCP Server for Agents

The single most distinctive thing about Zernio is that the same capability set is exposed twice: once as a conventional REST API for engineers, and once as a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI agents. An agent that speaks MCP can discover Zernio's tools and post to a client's LinkedIn or read a TikTok comment thread without anyone writing a bespoke integration first. The REST endpoints and the MCP tools sit on the same backend, so a human-built app and an autonomous agent behave identically against the same accounts.

Underneath both interfaces is one unified authentication model and one request format. Publishing text, an image, or a video to any supported network is the same call with a different target, and Zernio absorbs the differences in media handling, rate limits, and token refresh that normally make multi-platform posting tedious to maintain. It also ships an OpenAPI 3.1 specification, an LLM-friendly API summary, a machine-readable API catalog, and an agent skills index, so both a code generator and a language model can learn the surface quickly rather than reverse-engineering it from docs.

What Else It Does

Analytics and engagement

Beyond publishing, Zernio returns per-post and per-account metrics: impressions, reach, engagement, and follower tracking. Because the numbers come back in a consistent shape across networks, you can store cross-platform performance in one table rather than reconciling several different analytics formats by hand. That consistency is more valuable than it first sounds when you are charting a single campaign that ran on five networks at once.

Comments, DMs, and reviews

Where a platform allows it, Zernio can read and reply to comments, direct messages, and reviews. Messaging is metered rather than capped: the first 10,000 messages each month are free, then billing runs at roughly $0.0001 per message, or about $1 for every additional 10,000. That pricing makes it practical to build a shared support inbox or an agent that triages mentions and answers routine replies automatically.

Ads across seven networks

Zernio also manages paid campaigns through a unified layer covering Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, X Ads, and OpenAI Ads. The first 500 managed ads per account are free, with per-active-ad charges beyond that, so light campaign automation and testing stay inexpensive before you reach real scale.

Telephony, blogs, and webhooks

The surface extends well past social. Zernio provisions phone numbers ($3 to $30 per month depending on country and type), places PSTN calls, and sends SMS at pass-through carrier rates, and it exposes a Blogs API for WordPress and Shopify. Webhooks push real-time events back to your system, so you are not forced to poll for new comments, message delivery, or campaign status.

Pricing

Zernio has no seats, no plan tiers, and no fixed monthly minimum. Pricing is usage-based and graduated per connected social account, and every feature is included at every level, so you never pay to unlock analytics, ads, or messaging separately.

  • Accounts 1 to 2: free, permanently, with no credit card required.
  • Accounts 3 to 10: $6 per account per month.
  • Accounts 11 to 100: $3 per account per month.
  • Accounts 101 and up: $1 per account per month, uncapped.

The bands are graduated, so each rate applies only to the accounts inside its range (your third through tenth accounts cost $6 each even after later accounts fall into cheaper bands). Metered extras sit on top: messages beyond the free 10,000, managed ads beyond the free 500, plus phone numbers, calls, and SMS at the rates noted above. X/Twitter API usage is passed through at X's exact rates with no markup. From roughly 2,000 accounts, an enterprise arrangement adds volume discounts, postpaid net-30 or net-60 invoicing, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, MFA, and dedicated support, though nothing forces you onto it to keep scaling.

Who It Is For

Zernio is aimed squarely at builders who want social, messaging, and ads to be a backend concern rather than another SaaS login. That includes SaaS products embedding a "connect your socials" feature, agencies automating client posting at volume, and increasingly the developers wiring AI agents that need to act on real accounts across many networks. If you want a polished editorial calendar, a visual content planner, or a built-in approval workflow, this is not that product, and the absence of a marketer-facing interface is deliberate rather than an oversight. But if you are comfortable with an API key or an MCP connection, the breadth of networks, the transparent per-account pricing, and the genuinely free first two accounts make it easy to prototype before you commit any budget.

The trade-off to weigh is dependency. Routing every network through one intermediary means you inherit its uptime and its coverage decisions, and a network Zernio has not yet added is a network you cannot reach through it. A public status page and webhook-driven events soften that, and the pay-as-you-grow model keeps early costs near zero, so the practical risk of trying it and measuring the fit against your own volume is low.

Is Zernio free to start?

Yes. The first two connected social accounts are free permanently and require no credit card. You only begin paying once you connect a third account, and even then billing is per account rather than a fixed subscription.

Which social platforms and ad networks does Zernio support?

It covers sixteen social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Snapchat, and Google Business, plus seven ad networks: Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, and OpenAI Ads.

Does Zernio work with AI agents?

Yes. Alongside the REST API, Zernio runs a hosted MCP server that exposes the same publishing, messaging, and analytics capabilities as MCP tools, so an agent can act on connected accounts without a custom integration.

How does messaging billing work?

The first 10,000 messages each month are free. Beyond that, messaging is billed at roughly $0.0001 per message, which works out to about $1 for every additional 10,000 messages.

Is there a marketing dashboard or content calendar?

No. Zernio is infrastructure rather than an end-user app, so there is no drag-and-drop scheduler or editorial calendar. You build your own interface or connect an agent, and Zernio handles the cross-platform delivery and the data coming back.
