Huion vs Wacom vs XP-Pen (2026): Pen Tablets and Displays Compared

Disclosure: this page carries no affiliate links. Rankings follow the criteria in the methodology.
Updated November 4, 2026: prices re-checked on each vendor's US store or pricing page. Compared from vendor specs and pricing pages, not tested hands-on.
As of November 2026, US store prices before shipping: entry tablets Wacom Intuos S $39.95, Huion Inspiroy 2 S $44.99 and XP-Pen Deco 01 V3 $69.99 struck price; pen displays Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) $209.00, Wacom One 14 $299.95 and XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro V2 $299.99 struck price. XP-Pen's sales ($47.99 and $229.99) end November 5, 2026, so they do not set the rank. Huion quotes sale prices with no end date printed. Each class is ranked by its lowest basis price, and the table shows pressure levels beside it.

Who this comparison is for
The reader is a beginner choosing a first drawing device. A pen tablet is a pad you draw on while you watch the monitor. A pen display is a screen you draw on directly, at a higher price. Each brand sells both, so each class holds one entry model and one 13 to 14 inch display per brand, with figures from the brands' own pages.
The summary table
Six products in ranking order: tablets first, then displays. Pressure levels are a caveat, not a gate.
| Product | Rank in class | Class | US price, Nov 4, 2026 (before shipping) | Working area or screen | Pressure levels (caveat, not a gate) | Stand | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wacom Intuos S | Tablet 1 | Entry tablet | $39.95 | 6.0 x 3.7 in active area | 4,096 | Not applicable | Limited warranty, 1 year |
| Huion Inspiroy 2 S | Tablet 2 | Entry tablet | $44.99 (sale price) | 6.3 x 3.9 in working area | 8,192 | Not applicable | 1 year, lifetime support |
| XP-Pen Deco 01 V3 | Tablet 3 | Entry tablet | $69.99 struck price (sale $47.99 until Nov 5, 2026) | 10 x 6.25 in working area | 16,384 | Not applicable | 18 months, official E-store only |
| Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) | Display 1 | Pen display | $209.00 (sale price); $229.00 with stand (sale price) | 13.3-inch FHD | 16,384 | Optional, $229.00 with it | 1 year, lifetime support |
| Wacom One 14 | Display 2 | Pen display | $299.95 | 14.0-inch FHD | 4,096 | Sold separately, $99.95 | 1 year |
| XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro V2 | Display 3 | Pen display | $299.99 struck price (sale $229.99 until Nov 5, 2026) | 13.3-inch FHD | 16,384 | Foldable stand included | 18 months, official E-store only |
How the order was set
Tablets and displays are ranked separately. Within each class, the lowest basis price ranks first. The basis is the US store price read on November 4, 2026, before shipping, with one exception: a sale whose printed end date falls before November 7, 2026 does not decide the rank. That product ranks on its struck price, and the sale is printed beside it with its end date. Pressure levels are a column with a caveat, not a gate. All six products had a price read on the vendor's own US store.
That gives the tablets as Wacom Intuos S, Huion Inspiroy 2 S and XP-Pen Deco 01 V3, and the displays as Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3), Wacom One 14 and XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro V2 (stand included). The Kamvas also ranks first with its stand: $229.00, against $299.95 for the One 14 without one.
Both XP-Pen sales run on a countdown that ends November 5, 2026 at 07:00 UTC. On November 3, 2026 the same countdown pointed to November 4, 2026. Because that end date is before November 7, 2026, the sales do not set the rank. Had the sale price ranked the Artist, it would sit second, $20.99 above the Kamvas and $69.96 below the One 14.
The six ranked picks, in order
Tablet 1. Wacom Intuos S: the lowest tablet price read

$39.95 on Wacom's US store, read November 4, 2026, listed as in stock. The Intuos S has a 6.0 x 3.7 inch (152 x 95 mm) active area, a battery-free pen with 4,096 pressure levels and four ExpressKeys. Wacom lists a limited warranty of 1 year.
- The lowest US price of the three tablets, before shipping.
- The pen is battery-free, so there is nothing to charge.
Cons: 4,096 pressure levels, against 8,192 and 16,384 on the other two tablets. It also has the smallest pad of the three.
Best for: a beginner who wants the lowest tablet price and a small pad.
See the Intuos S on Wacom's US store
Tablet 2. Huion Inspiroy 2 S: $5.04 above the Intuos S

$44.99 is a sale price on Huion's US store, read November 4, 2026, with $49.99 struck through beside it, not labelled a list price. The sale prints no end date. The 6.3 x 3.9 inch working area and 8,192 pressure levels sit on a battery-free pen. Six press keys, one scroller, and a 1-year warranty with lifetime customer support.
Cons: 8,192 pressure levels, against 16,384 on the Deco 01 V3 and on both displays. The Felt Nibs PN05F replacement is $9.99 as a sale price, with $12.99 struck through beside it, not labelled a list price, and showed Out of Stock on the read day.
Best for: a beginner who wants a small pad with a battery-free pen.

Tablet 3. XP-Pen Deco 01 V3: the largest pad of the three tablets

$69.99 is the struck price on XP-Pen's US store, read November 4, 2026, and the basis of this rank. The store sells the Deco 01 V3 at $47.99 until November 5, 2026, with a countdown that runs to that date; $69.99 is not labelled a list price. The pad is 10 x 6.25 inches, with 16,384 pressure levels, 60 degrees of tilt and eight express keys. XP-Pen's US page lists free shipping and an 18-month warranty, valid only on the official E-store.
- The largest working area of the three tablets.
- The highest pressure level of the three tablets, at 16,384.
Cons: $25.00 more than the Inspiroy 2 S and $30.04 more than the Intuos S, on the struck price, before shipping. At the sale price the gaps would be $3.00 and $8.04. XP-Pen's own page says the tablet may not work well with some foldable or detachable Chromebooks.
Best for: a beginner who wants the bigger pad and the longer warranty.

Display 1. Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3): the lowest display price read

$209.00 is a sale price without the stand on Huion's US store, read November 4, 2026, with $249.00 struck through beside it, not labelled a list price. With the optional stand, the page shows $229.00 as a sale price, with $269.00 struck through beside it. The sale prints no end date. The 13.3 inch IPS panel is 1920 x 1080, with 99% sRGB and 90% Adobe RGB coverage. The PW600L pen has 16,384 pressure levels. Net weight is 865 g.
- The lowest US price of the three displays, before shipping, and still first with its stand.
- A 1-year warranty and lifetime customer support.
Cons: 1920 x 1080 at 166 PPI, so fine lines look less sharp than on a higher-resolution screen. No touch input. Huion's FAQ says the USB-C to USB-C cable is not in the standard package and can be bought separately.
Best for: a 13-inch display at the lowest display price read on this page.
See the Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) on Huion's US store
Display 2. Wacom One 14: the largest screen, stand sold separately

$299.95 on Wacom's US store, read November 4, 2026, listed as in stock. The 14.0 inch IPS screen is 1920 x 1080, with 98% sRGB typical coverage, 60 degrees of tilt, a battery-free pen and a 1-year warranty. Wacom says the stand is sold separately: its foldable stand is $99.95, which takes the One 14 to $399.90 with stand.
Cons: $90.95 above the Kamvas, and $0.04 below the Artist's struck price, before shipping. Its pen has 4,096 pressure levels, against 16,384 on the other two displays.
Best for: a bigger screen from Wacom, with 4,096 pressure levels accepted.

Display 3. XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro V2: the stand is in the box

$299.99 is the struck price on XP-Pen's US store, read November 4, 2026, and the basis of this rank. The store sells the Artist at $229.99 until November 5, 2026, with a countdown that runs to that date; $299.99 is not labelled a list price. The work area is 294.76 x 166.24 mm on a 1920 x 1080 panel. XP-Pen states 99% sRGB, 89% Adobe RGB and 95% Display P3 coverage. The foldable stand is included, and the 18-month warranty applies to purchases on the official E-store.
- It states 95% Display P3 coverage, a figure the Kamvas page does not give.
- The stand is in the box, where the Kamvas sells its stand as an option.
Cons: $90.99 more than the Kamvas without its stand, and $70.99 more than the Kamvas with its stand, on the struck price. It is $0.04 above the One 14. At the sale price the gaps would be $20.99 and $0.99. The same 1920 x 1080 panel as the Kamvas, so the extra money does not buy resolution.
Best for: a beginner who wants a stand in the box and an 18-month warranty.

| Measure | Huion (Inspiroy 2 S / Kamvas 13 Gen 3) | Wacom (Intuos S / One 14) |
|---|---|---|
| US price, Nov 4, 2026 | $44.99 sale price / $209.00 sale price | $39.95 / $299.95 |
| Pressure levels | 8,192 / 16,384 | 4,096 / 4,096 |
| Working area or screen | 6.3 x 3.9 in / 13.3-inch | 6.0 x 3.7 in / 14.0-inch |
| Warranty | 1 year, lifetime support / 1 year, lifetime support | Limited warranty, 1 year / 1 year |
Verdict: on price, Wacom wins the tablet and Huion wins the display. Huion also leads on pressure levels in both classes. A beginner on a budget picks the Intuos S for a tablet and the Kamvas for a display.
XP-Pen vs Huion: the price gap in each class
On the struck price, the Deco 01 V3 costs $25.00 more than the Inspiroy 2 S, and has 16,384 pressure levels against 8,192. The Artist 13.3 Pro V2 costs $90.99 more than the Kamvas without its stand. | Measure | XP-Pen (Deco 01 V3 / Artist 13.3 Pro V2) | Huion (Inspiroy 2 S / Kamvas 13 Gen 3) |
|---|---|---|

| Pressure levels | 16,384 / 16,384 | 8,192 / 16,384 |
| Stand and warranty | Not applicable / stand included, 18 months, official E-store only | Not applicable / stand $20.00 extra, 1 year with lifetime support |
Verdict: the tablet gap is $25.00 on the struck price ($3.00 at the sale), and the display gap is $90.99 at base prices or $70.99 once the Kamvas stand is added, on the struck price ($20.99 and $0.99 at the sale).
XP-Pen vs Wacom: the same two classes
The Deco 01 V3 costs $30.04 more than the Intuos S on its struck price ($8.04 at the sale). The Artist 13.3 Pro V2 costs $0.04 more than the One 14 on its struck price, and includes its stand where Wacom sells one separately at $99.95. XP-Pen lists 16,384 pressure levels in both classes, against 4,096 on Wacom.
| Measure | Wacom (Intuos S / One 14) | XP-Pen (Deco 01 V3 / Artist 13.3 Pro V2) |
|---|---|---|
| US price, Nov 4, 2026 | $39.95 / $299.95 | $69.99 / $299.99 struck (sales end Nov 5, 2026) |
| Pressure levels | 4,096 / 4,096 | 16,384 / 16,384 |
| Stand and warranty | Not applicable / stand sold separately ($99.95), 1 year | Not applicable / stand included, 18 months, official E-store only |
Verdict: the stated specs favour XP-Pen on pressure in both classes. On the struck prices the Artist sits $0.04 above the One 14, and it includes the stand. Whether a beginner notices 4,096 against 16,384 levels needs a shop test, which we did not run.

FAQ
Which pen tablet should a beginner buy first?
On price, the Wacom Intuos S at $39.95 is the lowest tablet price read on November 4, 2026, before shipping. For a bigger pad, the XP-Pen Deco 01 V3 at $69.99 struck price ($47.99 sale until November 5, 2026) has the largest working area of the three tablets.
Is Wacom cheaper than Huion or XP-Pen?
On tablets, yes: the Intuos S is $5.04 below the Inspiroy 2 S and $30.04 below the Deco 01 V3 on its struck price. On displays, not against the Kamvas: the One 14 at $299.95 costs $90.95 more than the Kamvas 13 (Gen 3), and $0.04 less than the Artist's struck price.
Is the Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) as good as the XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro V2?
On the stated figures they are close. Both have a 13.3 inch 1920 x 1080 screen and 16,384 pressure levels. The Artist costs $299.99 struck price with its stand included, and its sale ends November 5, 2026. The Kamvas costs $209.00 without its stand, or $229.00 with it, and its warranty is one year against 18 months.
Do pen displays need a computer?
Yes. Huion's Kamvas 13 (Gen 3) FAQ says it connects to a computer, a laptop or an Android device, and that the USB-C to USB-C cable is not in the standard package.
Where can I buy replacement nibs?
Huion's Felt Nibs PN05F for the Inspiroy 2 S is $9.99 as a sale price, with $12.99 struck through beside it, not labelled a list price. It showed Out of Stock on the read day. Both XP-Pen products include nibs in the box, but we did not read an XP-Pen US nib price. Wacom's One pen nib pack (ACK24911Z, 10-pack) is $9.95 on Wacom's US store, in stock on the read day.
Does the 4,096 pressure level of the Wacom models matter?
Whether a beginner sees the difference needs a shop test, which we did not run. The pressure column is a caveat, so it changes no rank.
Does the XP-Pen warranty cover accessories?
Only for 3 months. XP-Pen's warranty policy gives the tracing pad and AC accessories 3 months; the 18-month period is for graphic tablets and graphic displays, on the official E-store only.
Methodology
Six products from three brands, each read on the brand's own US store on November 4, 2026, in USD, before shipping. Huion and XP-Pen show sale prices, and each struck price is shown beside its sale price. Huion's sales print no end date, so they stay sale prices. XP-Pen's sales end on November 5, 2026, so XP-Pen ranks on its struck price. We did not test any device hands-on. Every spec is a figure the brand states. No cart was read for any product, so each rank uses the price the product page shows.
The rule: tablets and displays are ranked separately. Within each class the lowest basis price ranks first, where the basis is the US store price read that day, before shipping. A sale with a printed end date before November 7, 2026 does not decide the rank: that product ranks on its struck price, and the sale is printed beside it with its end date. Pressure levels are a caveat, not a gate. A product without a price read on the vendor's own US store would stay unranked. Affiliate status played no part, because this page carries no affiliate links. Sale-price gaps, for reference only: the Deco 01 V3 is $3.00 above the Inspiroy 2 S at its sale price, and the Artist is $20.99 above the Kamvas at its sale price. The next full price check is due December 4, 2026, or sooner after a sale.
