Updated November 4, 2026: each price was read again on the vendor's US store that day. Compared from vendor specs, not tested hands-on.
Navee G5 Max ($479.99 sale), Navee G5 Pro ($429.99 sale) and NIU KQi 200P ($439 sale) rank first to third of nine adult electric scooters as of November 2026. Fourteen models clear four checks on their vendors' own figures: a stated range of at least 30 miles, a top speed of at least 20 mph, a rider limit of at least 264 lb (120 kg) and a vehicle weight under 50 lb. The nine best by miles per $100 are ranked here, with at most two per brand. Local laws on speed, age and where you can ride vary, and this page gives no legal advice.
Dupple data: of more than 70 models with stated specs that we read on the US stores of Navee, Hiboy, NIU, Segway, Gotrax and Apollo, fourteen pass all four checks. The nine ranked models run from 4.58 (Gotrax G7) to 9.06 (Navee G5 Max) miles per $100, computed from the store prices read on November 4, 2026.

How the order is set
Four pass-or-fail tests come first, read off each vendor's printed figures. Range: at least 30 miles (for Navee, Segway and Gotrax, the spec-table figure). Speed: at least 20 mph. Rider limit: at least 264 lb (120 kg), the max load, payload or rider limit each vendor prints. Segway prints "265 lbs (120 kg)" and Gotrax prints 264 lb for the same 120 kg, so 265 lb was a rounding artifact, not a rider difference. Weight: under 50 lb.
Models with four points are ordered by miles per $100 (stated range divided by the US store price, times 100), higher first. At most two numbered picks per brand; a brand's other passing models sit in the box below the list. Fourteen models score four points; after the cap, the nine highest are numbered: 9.06, 7.95, 7.65, 7.32, 6.77, 5.67, 5.56, 4.81 and 4.58. The box holds Navee's GT3 Pro (7.55) and NIU's KQi 300X (5.34), 300P (5.01), Air (3.45) and Air X (2.96).
Navee's GT3 Pro is scored on its spec-table 37 miles at 9 mph, not its 37.3-mile headline.
1. Navee G5 Max: best for the most miles per dollar
Best for: a rider who wants the most stated range per dollar on the list.
Price: $479.99 on Navee's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the variant named "G5 Max | 43 Miles Range". It is a Black Friday sale price: the store labels $799.99 as the regular price beside it, and it prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 43.5 miles at 9 mph, 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max load, 49.8 lb net weight (57.1 lb gross). Navee's spec table prints 43.5 miles at 9 mph; its headline prints 43.5 miles at 9.3 mph. This page uses the spec table's 9 mph.
The catch: at 49.8 lb net it is the heaviest Navee on the list, 0.2 lb under the 50 lb check. At the $799.99 regular price the figure would be 5.44 miles per $100, not 9.06.
Recurring cost: none that we read.

See the Navee G5 Max on Navee's US store
2. Navee G5 Pro: best for the lowest sale price among the nine
Best for: a budget buyer who wants Navee's 20 mph model and can accept less range than the G5 Max.
Price: $429.99 on Navee's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the variant named "G5 Pro | 34 Miles Range". It is a Black Friday sale price: the store labels $699.99 as the regular price beside it, and it prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 34.2 miles at 9 mph (spec table; the headline prints 9.3 mph), 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max load, 46.7 lb net weight (53.8 lb gross).
The catch: 34.2 miles at 9 mph is 9.3 miles less than the G5 Max, which costs $50 more at sale price. At the $699.99 regular price it would be 4.89 miles per $100.

3. NIU KQi 200P: best for NIU front suspension under $450
Best for: a rider who wants front suspension and a 20 mph top speed for under $450.
Price: $439 sale price on NIU's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the Gray variant of the model named "Electric Scooter with Suspension 20mph". NIU labels the struck $649 "Regular price" beside it and prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 33.6 miles stated range, 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max rider weight, 43.4 lb vehicle weight including the battery. NIU lists 350 W rated and 700 W max power.
The catch: at the $649 regular price it would be 5.18 miles per $100, not 7.65. NIU prints no test condition for the 33.6 miles.

4. NIU KQi 200F: best for a foldable handlebar
Best for: a rider who wants NIU's 200 Series with a foldable handlebar and the same stated figures as the KQi 200P.
Price: $459 sale price on NIU's US store, read November 4, 2026, Gray variant. NIU labels the struck $799 "Regular price" beside it and prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 33.6 miles stated range, 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max rider weight, 44.1 lb vehicle weight including the battery. NIU lists 350 W rated and 700 W max power.
The catch: it costs $20 more than the KQi 200P and weighs 0.7 lb more, with the same stated range, top speed and rider limit. NIU prints no test condition for its range. At the $799 regular price it would be 4.21 miles per $100.

5. Segway F3: best for the longest stated range among the nine
Best for: a commuter who reads range first and accepts a 20 mph top speed on a Segway model.
Price: $649.99 sale price on Segway's US store, read November 4, 2026, shown In Stock on the F3 page. Segway labels the struck $999.99 "MSRP" beside it, and prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 44 miles at 9 mph in Eco mode, 25 miles at 20 mph in Sport mode, 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max payload (120 kg), 42.3 lb net weight (19.2 kg). Segway's range note: tested with a full battery, 165 ± 11 lb (75 ± 5 kg) load, 77 ± 9 °F (25 ± 5 °C), at the max speed of each speed mode on pavement.
The catch: the 44 miles is Eco mode at 9 mph, and Sport mode gives 25 miles at 20 mph.

6. Segway E3 Pro: best for the lightest of the nine
Best for: a rider who wants the lightest model among the nine and a 34-mile figure.
Price: $599.99 sale price on Segway's US store, read November 4, 2026, shown In Stock. Segway labels the struck $699.99 "MSRP" beside it, and prints no end date.
Decisive specs: 34 miles at 9 mph, 20 mph top speed, 265 lb max payload (120 kg), net weight 40.1 lb (18.2 kg). Segway's range note: tested with a full battery, 165 ± 11 lb (75 ± 5 kg) load, 77 ± 9 °F (25 ± 5 °C), at the max speed of each speed mode on pavement.
The catch: 34 miles at 9 mph is 10 miles less than the F3's 44 miles. Segway's table prints 25 miles in Drive and 17.5 in Sport.

7. Gotrax G6 Commute: best for a 35-mile commuter at $629 sale
Best for: a commuter who wants the longer-range Gotrax pick at a sale price.
Price: $629 sale price on Gotrax's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the G6 Commute, in stock. Gotrax labels the struck $799 "Regular price", under a site banner that reads "Black Friday Sale Ends Nov 30", so the banner dates the sale to November 30, 2026. The other G6 variant, at $799, was unavailable when read.
Decisive specs: 35 miles (spec table; the headline prints "Up to 25-35 Mi"), 20 mph top speed, 264 lb total weight limit, 45 lb weight. Gotrax states no test conditions for the range.
The catch: it meets the 264 lb check exactly, and its 35 miles is the top of the headline range. At that regular price it would score 4.38, not 5.56, and the order would change.

See the G6 Commute on Gotrax's US store
8. Apollo GO: best for the highest top speed of the nine, 28 mph
Best for: a rider who wants Apollo's 28 mph model and accepts a 36-mile Eco-mode estimate.
Price: $749 sale price on Apollo's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the 1-year warranty variant, labelled "Black Friday pricing" with $849 struck beside it as the "Regular price". The store prints no end date. The 2-year warranty variant is $838.99 when read. The product page reads "In stock • ships within 24 business hours".
Decisive specs: 36 miles in Eco mode (9 mph) on Apollo's spec table, which Apollo calls an estimate: "Estimates are based on an average rider at a steady pace." Top speed up to 28 mph, 265 lb max load, 49 lb weight.
The catch: Apollo's spec table ties the 36 miles to Eco mode (9 mph) and gives no range for Normal or Sport. At the $849 regular price it would be 4.24 miles per $100, not 4.81.

See the Apollo GO on Apollo's US store
9. Gotrax G7: best for a White G7 at $699 sale
Best for: a rider who wants the G7 in White, the only colour in stock when read.
Price: $699 sale price on Gotrax's US store, read November 4, 2026, for the G7 in White, in stock; the Black is sold out. Gotrax labels the struck $799 "Regular price", under the same banner, which ends November 30, 2026.
Decisive specs: 32 miles (spec table; the headline prints "Up to 20-30 Mi"), 20 mph top speed, 264 lb payload capacity, 45 lb weight. Gotrax states no test conditions for the range.
The catch: the spec table's 32 miles is above the headline's 30-mile top, and neither has a test condition. At that regular price it would score 4.01, not 4.58. The G7 Pro ($899, White and Black) was sold out when read.

What it costs to own
None of the nine shows a subscription on the product pages we read, so the 12 and 24-month totals equal the purchase price. The table adds the replacement parts we read on each US store.

How to choose
- Under $500: four ranked models sell at sale prices under $500: the G5 Pro ($429.99), KQi 200P ($439 sale), KQi 200F ($459 sale) and G5 Max ($479.99).
- Carrying it up stairs: the E3 Pro (40.1 lb net) and the F3 (42.3 lb net) are the two lightest of the nine. The heaviest Navee that passes is the G5 Max at 49.8 lb net.
- Parking outside: Navee's G5 Pro page lists anti-theft tracking. Our home security camera guide covers cameras for that spot.
FAQ
Is a 264 lb rider limit enough for most adults?
It covers many adult riders, but it is the limit each vendor prints, not a safety margin we can test. The Navee UT5 Ultra X and XT5 Pro print 330 lb, and the Hiboy TITAN PRO prints 300 lb. Check the printed limit against your own weight.
Can I ride these where I live?
Check your local rules before you ride on a road, a path or a pavement, because they decide where and how fast you may go. If you want audio on a ride, our bone-conduction headphones guide covers the models.
Are there subscriptions or app plans to pay for?
We found no subscription on the product pages we read for the nine models.
What does "stated range" mean here?
Navee's headlines print 9.3 mph beside the range and their spec tables print 9 mph; this page uses the spec table. Gotrax's headline ranges ("Up to 25-35 Mi", "Up to 20-30 Mi") sit beside spec-table figures of 35 and 32 miles, and this page uses those.
Why are some Gotrax and Apollo models not in the ranking?
Gotrax's G6 Commute and G7 pass at the 264 lb bar and rank seventh and ninth; the G7 Pro is sold out. Gotrax's G4 (up to 25 miles), G3 MAX (17 mph), G3 Pro (up to 18 miles), A7 (28 miles, 73 lb) and GX1 to GX3 (76 to 94 lb) fail. Apollo's GO passes and ranks eighth; Explore 2.0 (60 lb), Go Stellar (55 lb) and City 2.0 (72 lb) fail on weight, Dash (25 miles) on range.
Does the affiliate link change the order?
No. Navee's models are scored on the same four checks and miles per $100 as every other brand, and the two-per-brand cap applies to them too.
Methodology
We compared more than 70 adult electric scooters with stated specs that the US stores of Navee, NIU, Segway, Gotrax, Apollo and Hiboy listed for sale on November 4, 2026. Prices are each store's USD price for the named variant, never Amazon or review sites; a struck figure is printed only with the store's own label.
The rider check is at least 264 lb (120 kg). Earlier versions used 265 lb, a rounding artifact: Segway's F3 page prints "Max. Payload 265 lbs (120 kg)" (store.segway.com/ninebot-kickscooter-f3, read November 4, 2026, 06:27 CET) and Gotrax's G6 page prints "Total Weight Limit 264lbs" (gotrax.com/products/g6-electric-scooter, same day, 06:27 CET). 120 kg is about 264.6 lb, so the vendors round it in opposite directions.
The order rests on sale prices: Navee, NIU, Segway and Apollo print no end date, and Gotrax's banner gives November 30, 2026. At the regular prices the stores label (G6 4.38, G7 4.01, GO 4.24, G5 Max 5.44, G5 Pro 4.89), the order would change.
No affiliate program or paid placement decides the order.
Left out: Navee's G5 base (28 miles), V40I (25 miles), V25 (15.5 mph), GT3 (243 lb) and GT3 Max (50.7 lb); Segway's Max G2 and Max G3 on weight; Hiboy's S3, S2 Nova and S2 SE, and NIU's KQi1 Pro and KQi 100F, on range or speed. Gotrax's G4, G3 MAX and GX1 to GX3 fail range, speed or weight. EMOVE's in-stock RoadRunner SE (240 lb limit), RoadRunner V3 (55 lb), Cruiser V2 (74 lb) and RoadRunner Pro Seated (135 lb) each fail a check.
