In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to gather material to repurpose the content. You’ll learn how to train Claude with your style, transform your script, and create a custom GPT that is solely dedicated to transforming video transcripts and repurposing them for general use.

Step 1 - Gather the material and train Claude with your style

Start by gathering your video transcript and a couple of your best-performing content pieces (around 2-3). These examples will help Claude learn your writing style so it can create content that feels just like you wrote it.

For example, we will download a video transcript from a YouTube video. A video transcript looks like the following.

Next, we will gather 1 to 2 blog articles. Once everything is downloaded, go to Claude.ai and use the following prompt to set the foundation for your style.

Prompt:

I want you to become an expert content repurposing assistant that matches my exact writing style. This is crucial because my audience connects with my unique voice and approach. I'll provide examples of my content that showcase my tone, personality, and structure. Your job is to analyze these deeply and then transform my video transcript while maintaining my authentic voice.

Here are examples of my high-performing content:

You have successfully trained Claude AI to rewrite content using your voice and writing style. Now, we’ll ask it to transform a video transcript into a blog post and other types of content. 

Step 2 - Transform your transcript

Your transcript is the words you said in a video. Since we’ve already trained Claude to follow the voice and the writing style, it’s now time to give it a transcript as a source for a blog post, a LinkedIn post, and a Twitter (X) thread. However, these are just examples of the content you can generate with a video transcript. You can create a Facebook post, basically, any social media post that you want to make, without having to write it from scratch. 

Once ChatGPT understands your style, you can use this prompt:

Prompt: 

Now that you understand my style, I want to transform this video transcript into three pieces of content that feel like I wrote them. The topic is [topic], and my target audience is [audience].

[Paste your transcript]

Please create:
1. A blog post that captures my voice, including my typical story-telling approach, how I break down complex topics, and especially my way of adding personal experiences to make points more relatable
2. A Twitter thread with my signature hook style, incorporating my specific way of building suspense, using emojis naturally, and ending with those engagement-driving questions that my audience loves
3. A LinkedIn post that maintains my professional yet approachable tone, using my data-driven approach while keeping that conversational style that gets high engagement, especially how I frame insights from my experience."

The text in the LinkedIn post and the Twitter thread is way longer than the allowed limit. You can ask Claude to shorten it to the maximum word limit. ‍

Step 3 - Create your custom GPT

Save time by creating a custom Claude project tailored to your voice and style. Simply upload your style guide and sample content to get a dedicated assistant that consistently reflects your unique approach. 

To create a custom GPT, go to the ‘Projects’ link in the disappearing left menu bar. 

In the top right corner of the Projects screen, click ‘Create Project.’

Name your project. Add a description of your project goals or a subject. Click ‘Create Project’ once you’re done with the name and the description. 

Next, upload the content you have used in the previous prompts. Then, write instructions that describe the uploaded files. You can use the prompts in this tutorial as instructions for your Claude project.

Once everything is in place, you can now write direct prompts like ‘Create a blog post about ‘The future of the AI’ or 'A LinkedIn post about pollo.ai.’

Feel free to experiment with different prompts and use video transcripts on various topics to help Claude better understand your voice. Remember, Claude is an AI chatbot designed to assist in content creation, but it’s important to review and refine the generated text to align with your unique style. Avoid copying and pasting AI-generated content—while AI provides a solid foundation by giving you content, it’s your personal touch that brings life and authenticity to your writing, making it truly engaging for your audience.
