Learn how to create keyword optimized articles in minutes, not hours.

This tutorial will guide you through the process of leveraging ChatGPT for SEO, from understanding the importance of SEO content to writing and refining your articles for better search engine rankings.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your current SEO strategies, this guide will help you craft content that attracts and engages your audience.

Why SEO content matters:

  • Higher rankings: Optimized content ranks higher in search results, leading hundreds or even thousands of people to find you more easily.
  • Better reading experience: The higher the quality of you content, and the more likely users are to spend more time on your page and interact with it. It's really important because time spent on a page is a very important indicator Google uses to rank websites and pages.
  • Authority and trust: Consistently producing valuable content helps establish your site as an authority in your niche, which will make your website more likely to rank well on keywords with lots of competition.

Making the article

To start creating SEO content, you can ask ChatGPT for content ideas related to your target keywords. This helps brainstorm relevant and engaging topics.

In this tutorial, we'll focus on the keyword "electric scooter", but feel free to use another one.

Prompt:

You are a SEO specialist. Suggest content ideas for the keyword "[keyword]."

Once you have a topic, ask ChatGPT to generate an outline for your article or blog post.

Prompt:

Now create an outline for a blog post on "[topic]"

Next, use ChatGPT to draft sections of your content. You can provide specific instructions or let ChatGPT generate text based on the outline. For instance, you can have ChatGPT write the introduction for your article.

Prompt:

Write the introduction of the article. Use simple language, write in a friendly tone.

Don't hesitate to modify the "friendly tone" part of the prompt so that it fits better with your brand. Here, I chose to use "friendly tone" as it helps get something that doesn't seem too much "AI-generated".

I strongly advise to do manual edits to every paragraph. Here, you should remove the "Hey there!" that doesn't really belong to a blog article, especially for a company.

Now, it's time to make the rest of the article.

ChatGPT loves making bulleted lists, so if you don't specify that you actually don't want this "behavior", it will give you this with the following prompt:

Now, write the rest of the blog article. Use simple language, write in a friendly tone.

I do have to say I like this format, although it looks quite AI-generated.

Here's the prompt to use if you prefer paragraphs:

Now, write the rest of the blog article. Use simple language, write in a friendly tone. Don't make a bulleted list for every part.

Integrating targeted keywords

If you've updated your content well, making it more human and increasing its quality with up-to-date data, all that's left is to make sure it targets certain keywords well.

Incorporate keywords naturally and avoid keyword stuffing, which can make your content sound forced and negatively impact readability.

To start, you can feed ChatGPT an existing paragraph or have it generate a new one, prompting it to include specific keywords.

Prompt:

Rewrite the following paragraph "[paragraph]" and try to include the keyword "[keyword]." Avoid keyword stuffing.

Final touch

You can also use ChatGPT to enhance your content with visuals. For instance, you can prompt Midjourney or ChatGPT to generate a featured image for your posts. We'll use Midjourney here as it tends to generate better looking images.

Prompt (if using ChatGPT, just replace "/imagine" by "Give me"):

/imagine an image of a [keyword], simple, vector --no shading details, no text --ar 3:2

Looks good! Now, I strongly advise you to read again the article and manually change some details.
