Gamma enables you to effortlessly transform your entire presentation into multiple languages, all while preserving flawless formatting and visual consistency.

 This tutorial shows you how to create pitch decks with the help of AI. We’ll provide detailed instructions on configuring the deck settings, creating and customizing content, using images cleverly, and reviewing and exporting your pitch deck. 

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to:

Step 1 - Configure your presentation settings

We'll use Gamma AI for presentations and pitch decks. To do so, head over to Gamma AI. Log in to an account or create a new one if you don’t have one.

Navigate to Gamma’s dashboard to get started. If you’re a first-time user, you’ll need to sign up for a free account to access all the features.

After logging in, simply click ‘+ Create new,’ you’ll be presented with three primary choices: ‘Paste in text,’ ‘Generate,’ and ‘Import file or URL.’ To start building a presentation from the ground up, choose the "Generate" option.

You can select your preferred language and customize the number of slides using the + and - buttons. For most presentations, 8 slides is the sweet spot, but you can adjust as needed.

Select the ‘Tall’ orientation for the pitch deck. This is the ideal format for presenting your idea to potential investors.

Step 2 - Create and customize content

Next, start typing a prompt. Provide as many details as possible. It will help Gamma create the best presentation outline for your potential business. For further details, specify the URLs of your catalog and other information that can help Gamma AI generate an accurate outline for you. Click ‘Generate’ once you are done with the prompt. 

Scroll down at the bottom of the page and click ‘Advanced mode.’

You’ll land in the prompt editor, where you can customize your presentation with these options:

1. Text Content: Decide how you want the text handled. You can choose:
   
   • "Condense" (shorten the content),
   • "Preserve" (keep it as-is) or
   • "Generate" (let AI expand on your ideas).
     For most website conversions, "Generate" is a great choice—it uses AI to add more depth to your outline.
2. Text Amount: Control how much text appears on each slide. Pick from "Brief," "Medium," or "Detailed" based on your needs.
3. Audience: Tell Gamma who your presentation is for. This helps the AI tailor the content to your audience.
4. Tone: Set the vibe! Choose a tone like "Friendly," "Professional," or "Casual" to match your style.
5. Output Language: Select the language in which you want your presentation to be presented.
6. Image Type: For visuals, choose an AI image generator. If you’re in a hurry, "Flux Fast" is a solid option for quick, quality results.
7. Image Style: You can prompt the AI to follow a particular image style. For example, prompt it for professional colors and a winning mood. 

Apart from tweaking the settings, you can also arrange the cards by grabbing an outline and placing it where you want it to be. Hover over the outline. A hand cursor will appear. Grab it and put it up or down. 

Since we are creating a pitch deck, you might want to consider the image type for your presentation. We chose ‘illustrations’ to generate a pitch deck for a hardware production facility.

Once you’re satisfied with the settings and the card's placement, click the ‘Continue’ button at the bottom of the page. 

Step 3 - Select a theme

In the next step, Gamma will show you various theme options for your presentation. Take a moment to browse them and pick the one that best matches your content and personal style. Whether you’re going for sleek and professional or vibrant and creative, there’s a theme to suit your style!

Once you’ve picked a theme, hit the “Generate” button. Gamma will generate the content and create AI-generated images that perfectly match your text. Sit back and watch your presentation come to life!

Step 4 - Review, customize and export your presentation

Once the generation is done, your brand-new presentation will be ready to go!

Take a moment to review each slide:

1. Check the Content: Make sure the information accurately reflects your website.
2. Review the Images: Ensure the AI-generated visuals are on point and add value to your message.
3. Fill in the Gaps: Look for any areas that need extra context or clarification.

If you want to make changes:

• Click on the slide you want to edit.
• Use the editing tools on the right sidebar to tweak layouts, adjust text, or swap out images.

• You can also add, delete, or rearrange slides to get everything just right.

Another cool feature of Gamma AI is generating a new image to go with the contents of the card. Click ‘Remove accent image.’ the image placeholder will go blank. Click the ‘Generate image’ link within the image placeholder, and the AI will populate the prompt. Click ‘Enhance prompt’ and then click ‘Generate.’

Important to know: If specific slides need translation adjustments, use the regenerate feature on individual cards rather than regenerating the entire presentation.

Download the pitch deck or share it with the members of your team. Click the ‘Share’ button in the top right corner of the screen. 

Click the ‘Export’ tab and select a appropriate format to download the pitch deck. You get three options to select from, ‘Export to PDF,’ ‘Export to PowerPoint,’ or ‘Export as PNGs.’ Click any one of the options, and the file will be downloaded in the selected format. 

Remember, while Gamma does a fantastic job creating a solid draft, adding your personal touch can take the presentation to the next level. A little customization goes a long way in making it truly shine!

Good to know: Start with well-structured web content for the best results. Clear headings, concise paragraphs, and a logical flow on your website will help Gamma build a more cohesive and polished presentation.
