Learn how to easily convert your blog posts into engaging infographics using AI for standout social media content

Infographics are like the Swiss Army knife of marketing—they take complicated ideas and turn them into clear, eye-catching visuals that people actually want to engage with. They’re perfect for grabbing attention on social media, driving traffic to your site, and making your brand look smart and trustworthy.

Plus, when done right, they’re super shareable, helping you build a reputation as the go-to expert in your field. It’s a win-win for both your audience and your brand.

What if I tell you that you now create infographics using a blog post, an article, or a self-help guide? In the age of AI, automation is the way to go. You can now paste a link to a blog post or an article and turn the information into a cool infographic within minutes! How cool is that!

This tutorial will show you exactly how to convert a blog post into a visual marvel. Not only will your audience be impressed, but you’ll also be able to build rapport and establish your brand. There is a new tool in the market called Infography.in. It gives you a super easy way to turn an already published blog post or an article into an infographic in a few clicks!

Here are the steps we will follow in this tutorial:

  • Describe your infographic content
  • Generate your infographic
  • Tweak and adjust your infographic
  • Download the finalized infographic image

Tools required for this tutorial:

Let get right into it!

Step 1 - Describe your infographic content

First, go to infography.in and create an account or log in to an existing one.

After logging in, you’ll see options to create infographics from text, URLs, or pre-existing content on the homepage. There are templates to choose from in the left navbar. You can also get an API for automation. However, our main focus for this tutorial is to generate an infographic.

Navigating to the main dashboard, you’ll find three options for selecting your data source:

  • URL: Paste a link to a blog or article to create an infographic from its content.
  • Topic: Enter a general topic, and Infography will gather relevant information from online sources.
  • Content: Provide your own text if you have specific data or a summary you'd like to turn into an infographic.

For ready-to-use designs, you can:

  • Choose a Template from a range of pre-designed options.
  • Select an Aspect Ratio, such as Square, Presentation, or Vertical.
  • Set the Language, with over 130 options available to cater to a global audience.

Step 2 - Generate your infographic

Let’s start generating an infographic. Select a blog post or an article that you published online. We are selecting a blog post from the Dupple blog.

Copy the URL and select the aspect ratio of the infographic. Since we want to post it on our social media channels, we’ll opt for a 9:16 aspect ratio because it is optimized for a smartphone screen. Next, choose a language for your infographic.

Press the ‘Generate’ button and watch the magic happen. In less than 30 seconds, Infography will create an infographic for your blog post.

It looks really good, however, it’s not something we want to share with our audience. So, we will choose a template of our own.

There’s an alternative to the generic infographic output you get when you let Infography.in to choose a design for you randomly.  We can choose a template of our own. For that, go to the ‘templates’ section in the left navbar.

Select a template that resonates with your brand voice. There are quite a few to choose from.

A quick tip: If you find a template that you like but without the color palette matching your blog’s design, you can edit the infographic later.

Click the ‘Use with AI’ button at the bottom of the template.

Paste the blog post URL, choose a language, and click ‘Generate.’

It’ll take less than 30 seconds to generate an infographic based on the template we chose.

That came out pretty amazing. Now, this is an infographic we can share with our audience on social media platforms.

Step 3 - Tweak and adjust your infographic

You can edit the generated infographic. It’s one of the best features of infography.. You have the option to edit key elements of your infographic output:

  • Font: Adjust heading and subheading fonts, size, and color.
  • Icons: Swap icons to better match your content theme.
  • Background: Customize the color scheme to align with your brand.
  • Text: Rewrite any content directly within the template or alter font details.

Let’s start with a font. Click the ‘Edit’ button at the top of the the infographic output.

In the ensuing window, edit the heading, sub-heading, and content fonts. You can also specify font size. However, that’s not an exclusive feature. The exclusive feature is that you can move the heading and the content boxes to adjust the font size.

There is an option to change the heading and content colors and bold and italics for the text.

If you want to edit the content of each step, you can do so right here.

You can also change the images in the infographic.

In the left navbar of the editing window, there is an option to upload an image. We will upload the Dupple logo and place it at the bottom of the infographic.

Click the upload button and select an image. Once uploaded, click the image to add it to the infographic and adjust it at the bottom of the infographic output.

Step 4 - Download the finalized infographic image

When your infographic is complete, you can download it in PNG or JPG format. Infography also offers resizing options, ensuring your design fits perfectly across different platforms, whether for social media or internal presentations.

Click the ‘Download’ button in the top right corner of the editing window.

Choose your preferred output format. You can also choose the size of your infographic. We choose 1200 X 3000px. Click ‘Download.’

There you have it folks! Do not forget to try out various templates and input options to discover how Infography customizes your content for maximum impact. The more detailed your descriptions, the more precise and impactful your results will be!
